I wish symbols were more critical to the story

The same events could've happened in literally any other old city. I wish the symbols and landmarks were more critical to the story and the story was dependent on old legends and believes

It was fine, just like every other Robert Langdon book. A “monster” a lesser talked about arm of science, a preachy, entitled main character, and enough excitement to keep it going for 20+ hours.
