If you are a person who has ever struggled with an Eating Disorder and/or are simply having significant health issues and really need help and guidance... please give this book a try. It took me a while to read this book. I thought about it for many years and then recently it came up as the perfect time to read it and I am so thankful. Another book you might love is "How Not to Diet".
Some people might not need a book like this but many do. If you are searching for answers that you might not have been given yet, then this might be it for you. Every person is unique so this may come at the perfect time for those who really need it. This book has changed my life and I am so thankful. No, it's not just "fast and you'll be fine" as some reviewer said. (Not sure where those negative comments are coming from?)
It's really so much more than a simple idea about health... it's detailed information that will take you to a better understand of how to navigate a tricky eating world. Keep in mind some people have super serious life threatening diseases and have been given no other hope - Imagine if they are fat, sick, tired, and nearly not here anymore. What if they have been given no hope? Then this book can be for that person. It's about knowing what your body needs and thrives on. Some people aren't open to help until they are sick and really in need. Any time is a good time to start making changes described in this book; now is a great time to start!
Because SAD diet is really not cutting it for people; this book gives gentle ideas to guide you to a new way of thinking. It's a great book with lots of interesting facts around history and science. Have you ever eaten and felt like you're not satiated for no reason at all? This book addresses that too. It talks about triggers and the brain and how the wiring of humans work and how this all effects our health as a whole.
