The feels

I don't know how to feel about this. The emotions, all the emotions. The story was so good. The audio was so good. The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. Could definitely feel what they were trying to convey. The angst, the longing, the rawness. Definitely check TWs. I finished listening to this and had to stare at the wall. I knew it was going to be sad but also wasn't ready for all that. Definitely worth the read/listen.

♡Hashtag EMOTIONAL DAMAGE! I wanted to be dehydrated from the spice not from shedding every single tear my body possesses! I went into this book knowing I wasn't getting an HEA because I love to emotionally destroy myself & I feel like maybe one time I'll win & not cry (what a strange game to play with myself)! Well I'm here to tell you that this was indeed not that time, I did not pass go, I did not collect anything aside from a jar of tears to hand over to SK's collection shelf!

The duet narration for this audiobook was perfection! This was my first listen by Vincent & Gypsy & their performance blew me away! Every single character & emotions was executed with such precision & care it left me speechless at multiple points! If I didn't know the MMC's were voiced by one narrator I would have immediately thought there were two. This was a bone chilling, goosebump inducing performance!
