My hearts still pounding

Talk about full of action! I'm having a hard time figuring out how the bad guy was managing to pull off everything he did, but it sure made for a very exciting story.

I found the switched between time periods really helped to make the story easier to understand while keeping everything moving along. The pace of the story really contributed to the tension I felt as the listener.

The whole cat and mouse game that was going on was very interesting but I didn't feel like it was explained adequately why Doug Brown became the center of everything that was happening.

Overall... it was brilliant.

Great character voices and a delivery that conveyed the action, tension and emotions of the story. A first class narration.

Good Story

Detective Brown with a past and nightmares, joins the Hong Kong police department, for a new start. A phone call from the mad man a bomb has been planted at the precinct and it is meant for Brown who sent him to prison. An error and he was patrolled early. His plots are ones full of action
The narration would like it to have been better. The story and character of Brown was good. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Short Thriller

I enjoyed this short story by Jay Tinsiano. It was intense. Doug Brown, a detective, is haunted by a case from years ago. When the suspect is released from prison, Doug's worst nightmares are relived and he must attempt to catch a mass murderer before he kills again and again. I love that we get to see inside Doug's head and the head of the mass murderer Richard. The feel of terror that a mass murderer can give is delivered well in this book. This was the type of book that can hit all too close to home (psychopaths that want to rid the world of those they don't consider worthy).

I had to listen to this book from start to finish and luckily, it is relatively short. I would definitely pick up a book by this author and/or narrator again.

Tense Thriller, Great Listen

Blood Tide was a great beginning to what i am sure will be a great series. The plot was tight, the action was fast and the characters were real. Never a dull moment. I am looking forward to reading more adventures of Doug Brown.

The narrator was great as well. Pulls you into the story with his fast paced narration and great use of accents.

More Doug Brown NOW, Please

Doug Brown is chasing someone who is releasing terrorist attacks over the spans of some years in England. This terrorism then spans the globe as Brown faces many obstacles including receiving desk duty and later kidnappings. The terrorist is playing a deadly game and Brown is thrown in, unwillingly. In each situation, Brown is given a choice, save an innocent or group of people. 'Tag', Brown is it… And it continues.

This is a 'page turning' thriller by Jay Tinsiano. 4 thrilling stars! The title gives the inklings that this is the 1st in a series, however, at the writing of this review it is the only installment available on Audible. (September 2017)

Johnny Robinson's narration flowed smoothly with the British accent of Doug Brown. I loved it. 4 strong stars

Overall, there are spots in this book that are descriptions of graphic violence. It was a pleasure listening to this book – when *I received it in exchange for my review.
