About this listen

The night I’m released from prison, she’s in my bed. It’s been eight years since I touched a woman, and the Native American beauty is half-dressed, beaten, bruised, and devastatingly exquisite.

We’re toxic together, but we want the same things. Blood. Vengeance. Violent relief in a warm body.

Beneath her touch, I’m alive. Against her skin, I’m redeemed. Buried inside her, I forget the past. Until the past takes her from me.

Prison made me cold, but losing Raina makes me cruel. Ruthless. Unforgiving. I killed before. For her, I’ll kill again. I’ll end this once and for all or die in my boots.

Finished book 2 and 3 in 2 days

This series was absolutely amazing. I didn’t want it to end. I couldn’t think it could get better but each book did. I loved how often the author would set the scene with the music. I would have to go look up that song and put it on. Every word was written so beautifully and the love that you felt between the characters made my heart clench. I wish I could reread all 3 of these books for the first time all over again. Finished book 2 and 3 within 2 days.

Perfect way to end the series.

This series has all the feelings. This book perfectly ended the series. I love how the epilogue was 11 years later so we really got closure. Although Jarret is still my favorite I really enjoyed Loren and Rainas story. The narration was fantastic as well.

Booted

Omg, listening to this book was amazing. I live how 4 became 5 then 6 and so well balance in everywhere. Thank good all the loose ends were tied up before the good times got better. I just love the twist and unexpected surprise Pam hits you throughout the book. Those were brilliant and left me speechless. Not to the mention the narrators were phenomenal.

A fantastic end to this trilogy!

This series... simply amazing, but what else can you expect from the awesome Pam Godwin.

Book 3 is probably my favorite of the 3, but they are all damn good, (book 2 was my least favorite).

PG knows how to write dark, suspenseful, thriller-style romance, and this book highlighted that to perfection. Lorne and Raina have that perfect enemies-to-lovers thing going on, but it works perfectly in this one. We met Raina in book 2 when she was with John, Jake & Jarrett's father. There was a hint of some unhappiness in her eyes, but in the end, we figured out why. This one picks up as Lorne is getting out of prison, (you need to read these in order, why he's there is explained in that one). Raina is already at the ranch, healing from being rescued.

She has a goal, but no experience in what needs to be done, and he is a felon who can help, but carefully.

The book is a great ride from beginning to end!

Intense!!

This is an intense book! All three in the series actually are. I love how the men are so alpha, but at the same time love so hard.

An emotional rollercoaster you want to ride.

Booted is the conclusion of the series. It closes all open questions and must be read in order. But this series is so intense, it will draw you in from chapter one and not let go until the end. Loren and Renee are so tormented with their own pasts it is a wonder how they heal each other. The honesty between them is the only thing that builds the relationship. Their raw feelings and dark pasts are so real, I found myself submerged into their world. I held my breathe at the horrifying twists, I cried when I thought all was lost, and I hoped for a happy ending. But to get to the end, I had to walk along side Loren and Renee through all the pain. This story is more than just feelings, it is heartbreaking, gut wrenching, pure fear invoking words. Words that I could not stop reading. I loved this book so hard.

Emma Wilder and Aiden Snow narrated Booted. Aiden Snow has such a gruff, raspy voice that it perfectly portrayed Loren as I imagined him. Mr Snow brought out all the pain and hardess of Loren and was still able to bring out that soft, protective alpha that I grew to love. Emma Wilder narrated Renee with passion. Renee is such a tortured soul and Ms Snow was able to portray that pain with her narration. This narrated team did more than bring the story to life, they made it become reality while I dove into the world of Loren and Renee.
