Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Schätzung hat sicher einige gute Bücher geschrieben, man denke an "Der Schwarm" oder "Dunkel". Dieses Buch gehört nicht dazu. Der abgehalfterte Reporter ist zu klischeebeladen, der erste Handlungsstarng ist sicher nciht schlecht, wird aber durch die Langatmigkeit des zweiten erdrückt. Der zweite Handlungsstrang seit der Gründung Isreals einfach zu lang, langatmig und belehrend. Von der einseitigen Sichtweise eines Israel-Apologeten woillen wir gar nicht anfangen

Die LEser sind gut wobei manchmal die versuchte weibliche Stimmlage der Dame etwas nervt. Weniger wäre mehr, aber allgemein nicht auszusetzen an den Lesern.

Alles nur das nicht. Trennt die zwei Handlungsstränge, verkauft sei einzeln, das gibt immer noch je 500 Seiten. Bitte nicht noch mehr.

Fast paced thriller combined with a history book
liked it so much I read (listened) to it a second time in a period of 5 years. Great entertainment that helped me understand both sides of the Jewish-Arab conflict
