Building your money machine, a life-changing book

This book is so important to me that I am part of a book club where we will be breaking its lessons down for a minimums of a month to make sure we haven’t missed anything. I initially discovered and was drawn to Mel Abraham when I watched one of his presentations not long ago in GrowthDay where he discussed a few key points also found in this book. I kept stopping and starting the recording taking detailed notes. Mel is an excellent presenter who speaks from his heart and truly cares to help people. He makes the subject of money easy to understand and lets us know that “investing isn’t only for the wealthy but it is the path to wealth”. That is one of my favorite quotes by him because it’s something that kept me from saving for a very long time. I thought I didn’t make enough to save or invest. Mel teaches us how in this book and he does so in a way that makes it fun and interesting. I purchased the audible version because Mel is such an outstanding speaker and also bought the hard copy book to highlight and mark it up like a text book. Do yourself, your family and community a favor… read this book so that you can make a difference in your life and theirs.

Very wise and detailed financial book

Amazing book for those who is new in financial word and the ones that are experienced. Thank you Mel

Loved this book. It is filled with enough ideas to retire wealthy!

I read a ton of books and listen to even more on audible. I love learning. I have been thinking about what I will do when I retire and what age I want to do it. It is very hard to emotionally decide. But for most they don’t have enough in investments and savings to be able to financially retire. From what my old friend Mel H Abraham says many are not capable of retiring and have a very small amount of money allocated for it.

I have been blessed with understanding money since I was a young child. I invested in real estate at a young age and knew I needed to save for the future. I have been self employed my entire life. Don’t get me wrong I have also lost money on deals and investments. In this book Mel lays out how to set up for retirement no matter what your age. He literally teaches you how to build a money machine that will work for you.

I highly recommend this book. Mel spells it out and doesn’t hold anything back. I give this five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ with booster 🥷🏿 ninja.

Finally! A book that actually gives actionable steps that are rooted in solid facts and psychology

What I love most is that the author is not trying to shove anything down your throat, but simply speaking the truth about the math of money and what will help you create it, how you may be losing it if you’re not careful, and how to protect it as you go forward in life.

I think of this should be made as part of curriculum in high school as many people would be in a very different position in life how they read this when they were first starting out.

I like that many of his chapters begin with a question that we often times find in our own heads. It not only makes it real for us (because we have asked the same questions at some point in our life), but it actually gives us some certainty and confidence in the various options that Mel lays out so that we can choose our path depending on our own individual circumstances.

I bought the physical book because I also wanted the graphics. I also got the audible book so I can also listen to it while traveling, doing things around the house etc. to really help it sink in even more. You can definitely hear the sincerity in Mel’s voice…

In both reading the book and listening to the audible, the one thing for parents that stands out is “never pass on assets before passing on skill sets” 👍🏼

Practical advice

Great practical advice on how to manage finances without feeling a heavy conversation. The author managed to go well over the strategic and practical advice in finances and how to conquer financial freedom.

Enjoyed how Mel breaks it down. Ties together the practical and the psychological.
Money management to gain financial competence and therefore freedom, in very understandable steps.
Starting from any age in life.

Perfect combo of financial information and passion for creating a great life!

Mel is an amazing person. His love of life, and passion for sharing his wealth of financial knowledge made this book stand out as my favorite (and I have read lots of financial books). His passion comes through in his narration. I’m so glad he didn’t hire a voiceover artist to read it!! Lastly, he truly lays out an incredibly detailed plan and strategy that’s easy to follow for anyone no matter where they are in life!

Beginner info

Mostly rehashed info from many sources. Hoped for deeper content. Good enough for beginner or those new to money concepts.

Financial (and life) advice for 20-somethings

The author has an upbeat and encouraging style that I appreciated. He provides sound life as well as financial advice that my 22 year old self needed to hear. Unfortunately, the content really is only valuable for those just starting as it is general and basic. The financial content is in the third section of the book and even if you skip to it, it's still basic info. The author is likable and I wish him well, but for this book to succeed, it needs to be marketed just to young people and those with no experience investing.
