The new novel in the #1 New York Times best-selling Dresden Files series. Long ago, Susan Rodriguez was Harry Dresden's lover - until she was attacked by his enemies, leaving her torn between her own humanity and the bloodlust of the vampiric Red Court. Susan then disappeared to South America, where she could fight both her savage gift and those who cursed her with it.

Now Arianna Ortega, Duchess of the Red Court, has discovered a secret Susan has long kept, and she plans to use it - against Harry. To prevail this time, he may have no choice but to embrace the raging fury of his own untapped dark power. Because Harry's not fighting to save the world...He's fighting to save his child.

The best dresden files book so far.

Everything about this book is excellent.
The Story? Amazing.
The Themes? Beautiful.
Marster's Performance? Perfect.

it's as though Butcher reached into my brain, took everything I wanted to see in a dresden files book, and slapped me across the face with it.

Ch-Ch-Changes

The last few novels were a step up in this series and Changes is a fantastic edition. James Marsters is on top of his game here as well.

Perfection

I eagerly anticipated the release of this adaptation of Sandman. It was everything I hoped it would be and more.

I was initially concerned that it might not live up to my personal hype because there were no gorgeous images to latch onto to to really build everything out. I WAS SO WORNG AND SO HAPPY I WAS! The sound effects and music REALLY bridged the gap between mediums. i also really loved the intro to each book. it provides a defining point for the beginning and end of each story.

I listened to it twice in a row, and was just as delights the second time as the first.

I truly hope this leads to a second book to finish out the original comic series.

A Fun Romp Though My Memories of Old

Having not heard from Harry for two long years (mostly of my own doings), I thoroughly emersed myself in adventure.

And was justly rewarded.

Bravo, Harry

Amazing work yet again

With every book that I listen to, it's my new favorite in the series. This one tops the ones before it yet again but to a new level. Absolutely fantastic and enthralling

Great!

Omfg. Thus book sets the stage for some of the most awesome moments to come. And allows some characters usually left to the side to shine.

Arguably the best of the series.

Big Game

Everything comes full circle. Susan goofed big time, the Blue Beetle becomes the size of a smart car and Harry saves a woman from a burning building. The reds become very very unhappy with the outcome. Whoda thought, it's Harry Dresden. Good book, Jim.
