About this listen

Many things go bump in the night, and I am one of them.

I made a deal with a god, with death itself, to save someone I love.

I thought I had the upper hand, but I was wrong. From the moment he saw me, this god was determined to make me his… but his life is filled with death and is no place for the living. Trying to survive his world might just turn me into one of the lost souls that surround him.

But I have my own secrets, my own past.

What happens when a god and a mistake meet? What happens when neither will back down?

It's all or nothing with us. Before our deal is through, one of us will have lost everything. I will not let that be me.

Welcome to the Court of Death, where all life comes to an end…

Who knew Death could love? OH come on, I did.

Everyone loves a vicious, dark, unflinching and psychotic leading man. Death is that man. The God of Death to be exact. With the voice actors this story completely came to life, just like Court of Nightmares, I was enthralled and transfixed. I couldn't stop listening.
After making a bargain with Death, Avea is stuck with him. But I think she soon finds out, along with him, she doesn't mind that. Not in the least, at least, she tries to deny that fact anyway. Vampires meets Gods. And so much more.

3.5⭐️

This one was definitely a lot different than book one. This is M/F and really focuses on Avea’s past and her and Mors relationship. It was really fast paced and we got a handful of scenes with Mateo and other characters, but this one mostly focuses on the MCs. It definitely felt different going from 7 men to 1 it was kind of a shock and I kept waiting for more men to show up lol. But I enjoyed their story and am excited for Beasts!

Not as good as Court of Nightmares

Hades/Persephone vibes. Which was cool, but it's such an over used trope it's hard to stand out from the tons of other retellings.
Court of Death was average on plot, characters, and banter. The romance and spice was nice, but not the quality of other KA Knight books.
Probably a book I will forget in a month.
Little disappointed- this wasn't as fun to read as Court of Nightmares.
