A hot, steamy, sultry, and passionate journey to go on with Aly and Emmet. I loved the slow burn, the banter, and of course the fiery chemistry. I enjoyed every single moment of this book.

So adorable

I love this book! Emmett just loves Aly so much. Aly has a lot of feelings she needs to overcome but their hea is totally adorable

I like this book even more than the first two books of this series.

I feel the stories are getting better as we go. This book had an atypical story line. I really liked it.

MUST READ!!

I wasn't sure if I'd like Emmett's story as much as I did the others. I was big-time wrong! The depth of the pain both Emmett and Aly had gone through and the way they loved each other was riveting. I couldn't stop listening to this! The narrators were perfect for the main characters and brought the story to life.

THE BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES!

This has to be my favorite book it the series best friends turned nemesis turned lovers! So GOOD!

Pleasantly surprised.

This is a superbly crafted novel. As expected, it was formulaic & predictable, But it was so exquisitely written that I didn’t mind the lack of originality. The author clearly put a lot of work and thoughtfulness into the structure of the plot, and the development of her characters. It was heartfelt, interesting, absorbing, and romantic. I was also quite impressed at her talent for writing hot vanilla spice! 🧁🌶️ I also really appreciated that this was about grown adults in their late 20s/ early 30s, not immature young adults.

I enjoyed the narration. Neither narrator was able to voice characters of the opposite sex very well, but their performances were otherwise great.

I listened to this as a free title. I love it when I discover hidden gems from new authors in the plus catalog! I don’t think I would spend a credit on it, though. The pace was a little slow. And although it was very good, there are so many other authors of the highest caliber that I like a bit more than this one. Still, I’ll be listening to all of her other titles before they leave the catalog!

good story but narration could've been better

This was a good story. Aly was a strong woman that was trying to improve her family's situation, but didn't receive support from her family. Emmett was a man on a mission to do the right thing for the woman he loved. After breaking thru their issues from the past they were able to create a relationship. I listened to this story on Audinarrand the male narrator was great. The female narrator wasn't as entertaining.

likeable sexy characters not too angsty story

There was the perfect steam factor.The story is interesting and characters are likeable as well as sexy and appealing. There is the perfect amount of tension and a great HEA.

Great story.... so so narration

I have liked all 4 books, (I listened out of order) and enjoyed all the stories. I’ll probably look Stella on Kindle Unlimited. Characters and secondary characters were well-thought out. I enjoyed the plot twists. I enjoyed John Masterson’s narration but found Cassandra’s a bit grating. At times it felt poorly read. At other times, I just sound her to be sicky sweet and too young for the character. Maybe these 4 just weren’t the best material for her.

being best friends and always knowing but never wanted to admit to love. no one knows you like your best friend! And having the sex ever was a huge plus!
