Good story just lacking.
I think the story is good. It’s a little slow for me personally. I understand that it is setting the stage and I am looking forward to the next book.

Fantastic!
great for fans of John Gwynne's The Faithful and the Fallen and Evan Winter's The Burning series.

Riveting
Coming from Songs of Chaos I had high hopes for this book and they were very much met! Although the name Dragon Rider might’ve been a better name for the second book, and Dragon bound better for this one.

Everything I could have asked for from Taran for an Adult version of the Summoner Series
Although at times it seemed some plot points were rushed and others drug on too long it’s just me being nit picky. I can’t wait to see the world building as the plot unfolds!
