A good first installment for Marvel Crime Novels

Marvel doing a series of crime novels with it's street level heroes is an awesome idea, and after listening to the first book I'm excited for more. The book stayed true to the core of Jessica Jones, while also giving some new elements. Also, touching on Jessica and Luke's relationship, and giving us Danni Cage too, as well as a lot of the subtle mentions of other Marvel characters and elements was very well done. My only issues was the lack of action in the book. Stll, overall, very worth the listen.

i will read anything lisa jewell makes but this audio was TOP NOTCH!! loved loved loved

Not the Lisa Jewel I'm used to

I have read every one of Lisa Jewels books and I love them all, but this one ...not so much.
I preordered this as soon as I saw her name not realizing it was Si-Fi, which I don't care for.
Even if she continues on this new path, I hope she will also go back to her old writing style as well.

Lisa Jewel Never Disappoints

I have been a fan of Lisa & JJ so this novel brought both favs together. There were a few times I had to click back to reevaluate a narrative (that’s a me thing) and at the end it was all tied in a bow.

The relationships between family

The story was interesting with unexpected twists and turns. The relationships were lost and inner strength was gained. We are more than just what you can see.

Loved it

Fabulous story. Such imagination. It’s an easy listen. I’m waiting for the next one in this marvel series.

Troubled Super Hero

I liked Jessica. She is messed up, but keeps on keeping on. The story kept me interested. I was happy at the resolution.

Very fun read!

I love Lisa and this was a great mystery. I was never bored. Jessica is an honest character. Underlying themes of healing from trauma. I hope Lisa continues.

Absolutely everything I didn’t expect!

I lived this book!!! It was on point with the Marvel characters and she did an awesome job bringing adulthood into a young persons life. That’s how it happens even if you’re a super hero I suppose. I love it and cannot wait until the next installment. I hope there is one soon!!
