Our story does not begin nor end with our first and last breath. Our consciousness is connected to something higher in the Universe. We may identify as the person named on our birth certificates, but the greatest version of self has yet to be discovered by most. Embracing your Higher Self means finding who you are beneath the surface. I went through a significant life change at the age of 35. My brown skin spontaneously started turning white, and I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Vitiligo. Losing pigmentation in my skin drastically changed my appearance and diminished my self esteem. The constant staring and unkind reactions from the public caused me to isolate myself from the world. The isolation eventually led to depression and I found myself trapped in a negative headspace.
The warrior inside would not allow me to give up on life. I embarked on a journey to reclaim inner peace, conquer depression, and channel unconditional love from our higher source. Healing required unpacking childhood trauma, eliminating limiting beliefs and developing behaviors that nurture inner peace. My desire is to share the path I took to ascend higher in my life. To master the outer world, first I had to master the inner world. Don't allow a bad chapter of your life ruin the story. You have the power to be a co-creator of your story. There is greatness inside of you, be kind to yourself and enjoy the journey!

Informative and Compelling
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book. Learning Arthur's story and more about Vitiligo was enlightening and eye opening. The transparency and accountability was refreshing and enjoyable. While I do not have Vitiligo, I still learned some practices and lessons I will apply to my own life and journey.
