By far my favorite Audiobook
Gerard Doyle brings this story to life even more than the wonderful writing. Eragon has always been my favorite book since it came out. I was extremely worried about the Audiobook when I got it because I was afraid it just wouldn’t live up to my love of the story. I’m very glad to say the audiobook just made me fall in love even deeper. This is a must have for any fantasy lover!

Well Written and Narrated
I have read the entire 4 series once through. This is my 3rd time listening to the audio version on Eragon ( have the CD version as well) and I have enjoyed every moment of the story. It gets even better listening to the story several times — you end up picking up so much more. You find yourself listening intently understanding it in different ways and listening from a different perspective each time. The series is very well written and the narrator is superb. Both author and narrator are awesome storytellers!

Story good, narrative hard to get past for female
Good story enjoyed the details it was written with and all the creativeness. The narrator was challenging to listen to as his female character choices were very hard to listen to. The voice that was chosen for Sapphira was especially hard to listen to but all female characters were hard to listen to as it was obvious it was a man that didn't really have any idea how to do a female voice. Overall still worth it and will listen to the rest of the series just wish they would have let a female voice the female characters...

My childhood favorite
I read this book when I was younger and re-listened to it while working from home. I really enjoyed it! It was beautifully read and it was a welcome trip back to the world of Alagaësia.
