Question on existence, done in a fun Sci/fi way.

While a departure from book 1, it is a great, fun alternative perspective of the Great Game.

Great book two

I think this is as a great book two in this series and I cannot wait for another. I enjoy the rejuvenating story in this one

Not what I expected

It's not very similar to the other books by Benjamin Kerei. It doesn't even feel like it's in the same universe as the first book and only has brief appearances by Morgan. I can see how this might have been a chance for the author to play with different concepts, including some psychological trauma, but it really didn't fit well with the first book.

There were some interesting developments, but since they were with Morgan and weren't the focus, they feel brushed over.

So bizarre.

It's pretty much an entirely different story. Sure, it's in the same framework. Some of the same characters are there, but otherwise? The tone has shifted so drastically, that it's jarring.

Most of the book focuses on a different MC entirely, while the old MC has like a side story with an arranged marriage.

There are so many philosophical questions, and strangely insistent lines of thought I'd think the Author has some sort of complex with the idea of God.

When the end rolled around, I could barely follow, understand, or care.

The Author goes to great lengths to ensure you understand how pathetic, insight, and ultimately meaningless mortal life is.

I'm not sure how the author expected to make me care about the ending of a story that belittled existence.

Sure, it gets smothered by the happy ending feeling stuff, but that doesn't erase the 8+ hours of ragging on how horrible humanity is I had to endure to get there.

personal story rold through sci-fi

it started off kind of slow but I feel it was a very personal book for the author to write this the handle grief and just how the world and humanity treats each other in the last few years and this is how he got it out I honestly think this was his best writing so far

What a great book!!! Action packed and emotional moving. I can’t wait for more of this story in the future!

Benjamin has a gift

A peerless world builder with complex and real characters. I have yet to read a book of his that wasn’t exceptional

Split book

I feel like this is two separate book ideas merged. Like you didn’t have enough to make a whole book from the original storyline and you took another completely different short story to fill in the rest. The stories barely had anything to do with each other, apples and oranges. Might just be bitter you gave up on Death, Loot, and Vampires….

I was skeptical but it was way better than the first. Looking forward to where it goes.

Wished Simple Mike killed Nicholas

Story was entertaining but I hated Nicholas. The worst kind of person. A selfish coward he does however grow as a character at the end of the book.
