really enjoyed the pacing and the way this book brought the cast together in a new way. excited for the next one already!

Loved it

This has always been one of my favorite series but the massive twist at the end has me frothing to see where this new direction leads.

Too short!

This is a game-changer.

You know, I followed the entire book on Patreon and already knew what to expect, but it was thoroughly enjoyable listening to it all at once with Travis Baldree's performance. The Tenth Muse is now among my top favorites in the series. Although they are all very enjoyable, if I had to pick my absolute favorites, it would be a hard choice between The Sixth Rune, The Tenth Muse, and The Seventh Step. The Sixth Rune and the Seventh Step because that's when I really think Ruwen came into his own; demonstrating his growth in mind-buggling ways. Then the Tenth Muse because it just flip-over the game board. Just great story-telling. Thank you so much for writing this series.

One Arm Tied Behind Their Back Hero Trope

Love the series overall, but getting very unsatisfied with the classic hero could beat up the bad guy but his powers aren’t all working trope. Please switch it up!

Again come on

Why does he loose his powers almost every book. It was ok the first couple times but now it’s getting ridiculous. It seems like the series is turning into the same book over and over again, but him and another realm. This is sad because it’s such a great character, and I know with other hooks that the author can do better.

Still a very good serious, getting a bit tedious

The Good:
Overall one of the better LitRPG series, real-feeling characters, great world, interesting path forward from here. Hope hope this continues for many more books.

The Bad: (Some minor spoilers)
1. There's a lot going on and it's starting to get somewhat convoluted. Would benefit from a summary of previous bookings/important lore
2. Stop powering up and immediately nerfing your protagonist. It's a painful trope and a boring crutch.
3. We're now on our 3rd (or 4th?) desperate fight against Laquinrial that Ruwen escapes using some new power. Please let this be the last, I don't want to skip through another. Laquinrial is an awesome character, would love to see him in more interesting situations than this repeated scene.

It’s still not enough. Over to fast. Great book. Great drama. Excellent narration which is one of the best.

Another great addition

Can’t believe I didn’t pick this up on the release date, but happy I did eventually because it’s so good.
Voice acting is always great with Travis!
It’s great we got to see more of the other characters that haven’t had much time with the group, genuinely can’t wait to see what happens in the next book

each book some how's gets better and better but this one took awhile to get to audible. but worthy of the wait l. Great voice acting the writing and the characters so well done can't wait for more
