Publisher's summary

They bound me. Led me into sin. Twisted my heart and soul. But they didn't break me.

By a stroke of fate, I've won my freedom...and the dark half of the Seventh Circle. All it took was betraying the prince who held me captive.

Belial's anger burns hotter than the fires of hell, but I won't rest until I've won my Nephilim mate from him, even if being his enemy tears at my heart.

Azazel and Lucifer have a plan: create the Sword of Mourning, the polar opposite of the Sword of Light, and wage war against Satan. I'll raise my own army, master my corrupted magic, and together, we'll strike at the heart of Dis. Satan must die. And Gabriel will suffer.

For the archangel who pushed me, for the king who terrorized me, there'll be hell to pay.

Contains mature themes.

Lady Wrath

I am enjoying this series so much! The sex scenes are quicker than I would like, definitely good but could be better! I want to shake all the different characters at different times they are so frustrating but it makes for a good story. Looking forward to the next! Also Belial for the win in this book!!!

Good Story

I am enjoying this series, but to me the female narrator feels like she is just reading the story instead of performing the story. I’m not sure if I will continue listening to the series.

Awful narration

I’ve read these books up until the last one released and enjoy the series. However, the narration is awful. The female over annunciates the letter ‘s’. She sounds like she is trying to sound like a sexy snake but it comes across immature. She also mispronounces many words. The word bony is “Bonnie,” the word feral is “fear-all,” the word sensual is “sense-u-all,” and renegade is “renage.” There are many more too. The male narrator attempts to do different voices for the characters but slowly looses the accents as reading. Really bad. I wouldn’t continue listening but bought the whole series to listen to at work. So I’m committed.

Great story; male narrator could be better

I enjoyed the story and the female narration is really good. But the male narrator makes me want to skip over those sections. I’m not a fan of the accent he has for Lucifer but the book was great and I already bought the next one.

I’m obsessed with this series

this book starts off soon after the first one with melisande winning her freedom and half of the seventh circle. this book was more emotionally fraught then the first one. we see much more of lucifer and Azazel in this book just because of the circumstances following the first one.

i Liked that though we got to get to know them more. her relationships with them formed and we got to see her grow into the person she was supposed to be. Melisande has had enough with Satan and his bulling ways so she out right tells her men that she is going to kill him. the majority of the second half of the book is them going on a quest for the metal to make the inverse of the light sword that Gabriel has. I agree with Melisande that the second sword is useless. i guess its obvious to me because this is a good and there is a level of good guys win in most books i read.

over all i really liked this book and i hope we see more if the characters working together in the next book. these characters are old and thats a lot of history to get past.
