A visit with a Traveling Doctor
This is a wonderful book about a doctor who escorts patients injured overseas back home. It's funny, touching, heartwarming and heartbreaking. The doctor is a wonderful kind and compassionate man who cares about his patients. His patients run the gamut from kind, nasty, funny and frightened. My favorite was the lady in her seventies who didn't want people to know a doctor was traveling with her, she introduced him as her boy toy! This book was too short and very enjoyable. I listened on audiobook and the narrator had a beautiful British accent.

entertaining listen
I found this book very interesting and had a hard time putting it down. The only person who might not enjoy it is someone who does not like to hear someone is struggling for there life and the remedies that are necessary to help the person.

Great story. Well-narrated!
Excellent and varied stories. There are a fair number of medical emergencies depicted so if you are sensitive I would skip it.

Exciting stories!
Loved this book! I never thought of the job these doctors and nurses do, of flying to retrieve patients all over the world to bring them back to Great Britain. Great stories throughout the book! Narrator was a wonderful story teller, as well.

Fun and interesting
Loved it. Who even knew there was such a thing as doctors whose job is bringing home people who have been taken ill or injured while in other countries?
