My Favorate Book Series EVER!

I LOVE these books! The narrator does a fabulous job of bringing these charactors to life. My boyfriend and I have listened to all the books in this series 10 times each and they never get old. We even have our own inside jokes that quote Oberon and Atticus on a daily basis. The characters are so alive in our house it's like they are part of the family.

unexpected enjoyable listen

Reader was awesome... good storyline... didn't think I would enjoy this at the start and was disappointed initially that I had purchased it. .. after listening to everything else in my library I started listening simply because I had already purchased it. .. and I'm glad I did. .. loved Oberon and Atticus.

Well done. Funny and unique.

The main character is a badass. Mix in magic into our culture adds a nice relatable humour.

A great series.

I haven’t finished this series because I’ve gotten up in other bigger epics but I come back to this one whenever I need something short and comforting. Everything about this series feels comforting. I don’t know how else to say it. Check it out if you want a nice easy listen.

Smiled every time the dog character talked

Good adventure story, very well narrated. The real gem however was the dog character. I am 52 years old and still found myself smiling every time he talked. The author should consider writing, "The adventures of Oberon", volume's 1 and 2.

Good stuff

Competent characters and the author seems quite knowledgeable in several areas, no nagging annoyances about the story world or character choices not making sense. That's pretty rare these days. Plus the main character is a total badass even with their fairly strict power set. Gotta love it =)

Flawed but fun

The story is fun to listen to, but every mention of a person of color paints them as being evil, irritating or stupid. I’ll give the next book in the series a try, and I sincerely hope the author corrects this. The narrator is good, and the dog is entertaining, but he uses the same fake lucky-charms style accent for each Irish character.

This is my 3rd time through this series. Get characters with a really interesting take on religious figures.
