Some time ago, humans…us, made pacts with demons all the time; it’s written in a text somewhere I read. Little did I know, how true that actually was; after getting out of an abusive relationship, I picked up a book at a local library…more out of boredom then anything. I didn’t think reading a few spell words from it, would summon a demon named Dizzin. Aside from the black demon like wings and the horns that jet out of the top of his head, he seems absolutely normal. Problem is, the words I spoke, had somehow made a blood pact with him…what that means…I’m not even sure myself.

Wow!!!!
Loved the story! The narration was perfect! Can’t wait to hear the next book! Please hurry and get it out on audio ASAP!!!! I don’t have time to sit and read a physical book so audiobooks are what get me through my work day! Now I’ll be on the edge of my seat eagerly waiting for the next book!!

Amazing
There are not enough stars to rate this audiobook! Ruby Roe did not disappoint in The Girl Games Series and she continues to excel in The House of Crimson Hearts. Excellent narrators to go along with an excellent story. I read the book first and loved it! Once I listened to the audiobook, the narrators made me feel like a heard a new story. Also, if you enjoy spice you do not want to miss Ruby Roe's books!

One of the best series I have read
I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the Girl Game series first and thought it was amazing. I like audio books so I anxiously awaited the release of this book for months. I burned through it so fast and couldn't wait for the next one so had to buy that as an ebook so I could continue the story right away. I am so invested in the relationship between Red and Octavia. The sex scenes are incredibly intense and hot. The story itself has me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what's going to happen. If you are looking for a book series that will stick with you and make you keep thinking about it months later even, this is it.

Great story and narration

I can’t wait for the rest of the series
I loved the Girl Games series and I can tell I’ll love this one just as much. This take on vampires is really fun. The characters are interesting and I look forward to seeing how they develop.

Cliffhanger! Great story!
I've read this book twice as well as the second book in the series and loved them both. Narration was overall good. The narrator for Red was great, but I felt the narrator for Octavia was just a little one dimensional for how layered a character Octavia is and just not how I envisioned her sounding; but it was by no means bad. It's just my subjective opinion. I did like her interpretation of young Cordelia and Eleanor and the innocence of youth before everything comes crashing down. It's a good listen and I can't wait for the next intallment.

Amazing. As always.
I LOVED IT!!! The story is absolutely amazing. The sex scenes are elevated from the Girl Games series. What I’m absolutely shattered about is the narrators. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I don’t think Octavia’s narrator fits her. Red is doable. Not to mention that Cornelia’s narrator reads “Eleanor” wrong. She changed the name pronunciation totally.
