Help your teen face the challenging years of adolescence with the faith, wisdom, and encouragement they can only find with God. Your teen probably has so much on her plate right now, that her relationship with God has taken a back seat. As a parent, you want to help, but teens often don’t want parents telling them what to do. The best way you can help is to give them the tools to figure things out for themselves. This devotional was created to do just that.

It's tough when your gifts and passions are stuck in holding patterns of insecurity, shame, and comparison. But the truth is, every experience of your life has prepared you to live out your God-given purpose in this exact moment. The world is hurting and our lives are waiting, we don't have time stay stuck--we've got to make a move. You Are the Girl for the Job is not an empty catchphrase. It's the straight-up truth God has proclaimed over your life from the beginning. It's not a statement about your capacity, but rather about His.

Story
Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with him. It's about experiencing God's grace, not earning his love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like his life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple: someone who is surrendered to God, separate from the world's values, sober in self-assessment, serving in love, and supernaturally responsive to evil with good.

Story
You have big life questions. This audiobook will give you clear, direct answers! After successfully serving in one place for more than 20 years, Charles Jenkins came to a critical point when he had to ask himself some very difficult questions, including: “Is your season in this role over”? “What season of life are you in”? and “How do you know when it's time to leave”? “Where are you headed”? Transitions are always times of upheaval. They challenge us to clarify our purpose, assess our talents, have compassion, and find the courage to make bold decisions.

Story
An increasing number of American Christians are frustrated. Even as they read their Bibles, listen to sermons, and hang out with other Christians, they become painfully aware that something is missing: joy. As a result, many have given up on their faith being a source of joy, and instead they seek meaning, purpose, and joy through their Christian service, work, relationships, hobbies, possessions, or even more destructive and hollow substitutes.

Story
When we find something valuable that helps us accomplish the things that matter most, we don't let go of it. Life is not a game. However, on multiple occasions, the Bible uses competitive sports metaphors to demonstrate the discipline and training necessary to grow and become everything God created you to be. The things we care about most - our identity, our purpose, our relationships - are far more important than a game. We have to learn to win in these areas. And yet, when it comes to our spiritual lives, it often feels more elusive.

Story
We see a culture that promotes success at all costs, and working women are falling for it. It's happening every day. Priorities are shifting. Things are getting done...but are we doing what matters most? And that's why we wrote this book. This is the story of how we traded the lies of the world for the truth of our loving Father—the lessons we learned that challenged culture's "good things" so we could find the greatest thing. The book you're about to listen to is really a conversation—a conversation that pushes back against our culture with a Gospel-centered approach to work.

Story
If you're not reaching the future of the church, your church has no future. As much sting as that statement has, it's hard to argue with. Yet many churches have no idea how to attract and retain younger generations. If you want to understand how to reach, teach, and empower young adults in your church, Jonathan "JP" Pokluda is ready to show you how.

Publisher's summary
Professional excellence and religious faith have been at odds over the past few decades. It's often thought that someone should pick only one avenue to pursue and that the other must be thrown out entirely. But, in reality, pursuing God through your career and your ministry for Christ can become a stepping stone toward making you even better at what you do, and who you are.
In Between the Lines: Of Faith and Work follows the journey of a student through her training to become, and then work as a physician—experiencing the daily difficulties of juggling life and education. It details her struggle to overcome meningitis and includes the incredible blessings and miracles that accompany trusting God—even through the pain.
This book is written specifically for grad students and young adults who are negotiating the steps required to "get somewhere" in their career, with all the daily complications that brings. It's written for those who are living out the tension in between who you are now, and who you want to be. It encourages and challenges—and is written in chapters that can be studied individually, or used as the basis for group discussions.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Thoughtful, informative, and refreshing
The information, and wisdom in this book is presented with passion, and vulnerability of Dr. Tauriac.
She has taken seasons of her life, her walk with God, and her relationships with family, friends, and colleagues and given us a reason to press on.
It is easy to listen to even the most difficult challenges Dr. Tauriac presents. She narrates her book with kindness, and conviction. Truth be told, she tells the truth.
This book is worth the time and attention.
