Publisher's summary

For fans of The Silent Patient and Gone Girl, a razor-sharp and Hitchcock-inspired psychological thriller about two ordinary women who make a dangerous pact to take revenge for each other after being pushed to the brink.

One dark evening on New York City’s Upper West Side, two strangers meet by chance. Over drinks, Amanda and Wendy realize they have much in common, especially loneliness and an intense desire for revenge against the men who destroyed their families. As they talk into the night, they come up with the perfect plan: if you kill for me, I’ll kill for you.

In another part of the city, Ruth is home alone when the beautiful brownstone she shares with her husband, Scott, is invaded. She’s attacked by a man with piercing blue eyes, who disappears into the night. Will she ever be able to feel safe again while the blue-eyed stranger is out there?

Intricate, heart-racing, and from an author who “is the real deal” (Lee Child, #1 New York Times bestselling author), Kill for Me, Kill for You will keep you breathless until the final word.

Riveting Story

Thoroughly enjoyed this crazy ride of a story! Great twists. One of the best of the “Strangers/Train” entries.

Excellent twists and turns

A nice easy read with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. The plot is basically strangers on the train adjacent. But it’s so much deeper than that. Absolutely excellent read.

The plot is as slow as a train

It’s definitely not Eddie Flynn level of thrills. It’s very slow to the first half. There are 4 POV and different timelines. It was not holding my attention so I had to keep rewinding chapters because I was lost.

The twist was a shock, but the plot just seemed too far fetched to be believable.

You can only guess what happens next if you ESP

There were so many plot twists in this book. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. Finally a unique story I haven’t read before.

Reading thrillers a lot means that nothing usually shocks you anymore but the plot twists in this book I did not see coming! I loved this book and finished it super quick!

Lots of twists and turns in this one!

One character grated on my nerves and made me gasp a few times. The first hour is slow- keep going for a great read.

interesting title, not so interesting story.

the story was too long for the outcome...disappointing. It had many twists and turns but all very predictable.

Unpredictable

I'm not sure Lucy wanted to remember her traumatic night. The night she lost her best friend and was accused of her murder by everyone. The story holds a good pace, I enjoyed Lucy's sarcasm throughout, and I was not able to predict the ending. I had several other people in my head who seemed sus, but I was wrong and delightfully so.
