Interesting story
I’ll have to decide whether reading about a woman whose goal is buttering up a rich man so she can marry and then kill him is on the top of my tbr list! Good writer and I can see why the next book was on a book club!

Difficult to get through
I started this book several times and only finished it because I was on a long road trip. The amount of insensitivity and callousness demonstrated by “Amber” throughout the book was so negative. I kept hoping there would be a redemption of some sort, but none came.
