Amazing re-imagination of Camelot came

The story, the writing, the performances, the characters, the character arts everything about this was amazing

Worth the Wait

I have waited so long for this and I can say it was definitely worth it. I was a big fan of the first book and was disappointed every time the release date of this was pushed out. But now it’s here, it is everything I hoped it would be. It took me a little while to get used to the different narrator. The new one does a good job. It took a minute to really clamp onto the story. Sort of like the awkwardness of seeing an old good friend after so many years apart. Once warmed up, the story zooms off to the very places I hoped it would. Don’t give up because the first chapters feel unfamiliar. There’s a reason. Basically, a fun time and I hope for another! Just please don’t make us wait years for it.

Love this Second Book of Morgan!

While I realize this is not a classic I so love this story and the characters in Keach’s books. I am praying there’s a third to bring round the final magic!

Worth the wait

slow to start. but boy did it pick up quickly..... kept you guessing almost to the end. the writing was spot on... flowed quite nicely. The narrator was perfect in every way. can't wait until the next book.

Different narrator

I’m about an hour into the book. The actress narrator in the first book had a deeper more resonant voice. This new narrator while decent has a higher resonance which makes the main character less powerful sounding especially when Morgan is at her strongest.
Morgan LeFay is a strong and powerful woman and should sound as such.
I might be over critical but Venessa Kirby was the quintessential Morgan Lefay.
She very much gave her the power in voice snd performance.
5 stars was my performance rating for Kirby. 4 at best for this new performer.

Worth the wait!

I love this retelling- through Morgan’s eyes. Finally- it feels like the legend is finally being put right.

Excellent narration.

Grateful for this free offering on Audible. Miranda Raison is simply BRILLIANT. Fingers crossed she reads the next in series.

wonderfully written! beautifully told! a fantasy without being ridiculous, historical romance without being simpering or obsequious, a ferocious heroin (with the exception of the intro music at the beginning and the outro music at the end of the book that was horrible to experience) I recommend this book and it's predecessor over and over and over again!

A brilliant retelling and a solid second book in this trilogy! Excellent narration. Absolutely worth listening to.

It’s gonna be absolute torture, waiting for book 3

One of the things I most liked about this book was that it was not predictable at all. Awesome storyline. I fear to say too much else about this series because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else. This is definitely a book. I had a hard time putting down.
