So Awesome
I began this series after waiting for it to hit Audible, originally seeing it online. I really wanted a good voice act(or/ress) and I was not disappointed. What a great story and a perfect medium. Can't wait to see her devilish plans in the future!

I Was Worried, But It Turned Out Great.
I loved the first book so much, and I liked the second one too, but I wasn't too keen on having her face off against another lich. I didn't really like the mood of the second book with the constant threat of a boogyman springing up at any time. And then, unfortunately, she wasn't able to beat him by the end so now we are facing more of the same in the third book.
On top of that annoyance, we are also introduced to a whole undead plague in this book, which caused my heart to sink. I really worried that the whole book was going to be about Maude having to search for and concoct a cure for this, and then waste the whole book fighting zombies. Fortunately, while it seemed that way at first, the book moves on relatively quickly from that and simply follows Maude as she builds up her offenses and defenses in preparation to fight the annoying lich guy yet again. Normally this wouldn't interest me much either, but this is Maude we are talking about so she does it all with style and quality crafting. Her character really makes these books worthwhile. I loved the ending and I urge you to give it a chance even if you are hesitant about it like me.

Fun listen!
I've been thoroughly enjoying this series this far. The characters have growth and the situations have kept me engaged.

Not in keeping with the first two
A good story but it would have been better with a summary rather than the forced story arch. The first two books have earned a read for the next but I just hope it has been planned better.
