This “memoir” I suppose is a good term for it was worth the listen. She provided insight and perspective while sharing with the world how she had to change to become a better person.

Nice to have a women’s prison represented differently than the sordid, dark place the movies represent it to be.

Different perspective beyond Hollywood personas

This was a very touching story. I like how she portrayed the sisterhood that they experienced in her prison. I like her ownership to her crime. I like that she gave perspectives of her family. I found myself emotional in some parts. Congrats on your hard work.

I listened to this twice in one day!

That being after hearing her tell her story in person. Portia has an amazing story to tell, which she tells so well. I could feel how much her heart was in this in every word. I had a miserable start to my day and it’s now ending with hope. Thank you Portia!
