Publisher's summary

Create your next breakthrough.

Mad Genius is a unique audiobook for entrepreneurs - and for employees who want to think like entrepreneurs. It will help you unleash the innate creative genius inside you.

Every industry has its sacred cows and accepted practices. These are often based upon foundational premises that are no longer valid - if they ever were.

There's a reason Facebook was birthed in a dorm room, Amazon.com came from people not in the bookstore business, and UBER was created by people who weren't from the taxi industry.

Innovation, discovery, and creating disruption require blowing up conventional thinking and unleashing your entrepreneurial brilliance.

Mad Genius is a fire hose of creative stimulation that will spark breakthrough ideas and show you how to nurture them.

Get ready to think different.

Critic reviews

"Randy Gage is truly a genius - and entrepreneurs would be mad not to follow his stellar advice. Make your first mastermind alliance with this remarkable book." (Harvey Mackay, author of the number-one New York Times best seller Swim with the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive)

"A big and brave kick-start for anyone set to make their entrepreneurial dreams come true." (Robin Sharma, number-one best-selling author of The Leader Who Had No Title)

“After reading Mad Genius, I filled half a journal with insights and ideas, but here are a couple of areas of critical thinking which I believe every entrepreneur would be wise to attend to - instead of risking seeing the next 10 years become more than “cataclysmic” -- in fact downright disasterous.” (Dixie Gillaspie, Entrepreneur)

This is Randy's best book to date

I've read all of Randy's books so far and although I think Risky is the New Safe was tremendously good, I'm certain this one is even better. Although if you haven't, I suggest you read Risky... Before you pick this one up; it will make more sense that way I think.

And Randy's narration makes it even better.

Thought provoking

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. If they aren't critical thinkers, they need to become.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mad Genius?

Randy chuckling at his own words and bringing humanity to the read.

What about Randy Gage’s performance did you like?

It's like having a conversation

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I didn't make it. But I would have listened in one sitting.

This audiobook was very well put together and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot of information, take notes and lots of bookmarks.

Pumped! This book is a legal alternative to meth.

I could not put this book down the first time I played it!

Randy does a stellar job inspiring "thermal fucking nuclear" levels of creative genius in his read of this book.
He's filled it with just the right amount of guidance, examples, and quotables. Thanks Randy!

Lot of talk no knowledge

This book is as exactly as promised a long drawn out speech, with little to no examples on how to make a business better.

As Expected... Insightful, Interesting, Abstract.

Humm, the style of this book took some getting used to. There are parts where I had to keep reminding myself that I am listening to a "Manifesto of Entrepreneurs" because that is exactly how it's structured. However, if you can make it through some of the rants and over reading Randy Gage delivers some content that is, in fact, MAD GENIUS! That is why I'm giving the overall & story 4 stars.

A few of the points he makes on the mindset required for anyone innovating (entrepreneur, intrapreneur, business development) are awesome and key pieces of material that makes the book worth listening to. However, I would have probably preferred to read the hard copy.

Fascinating and inspiring!

What else could you expect from Randy Gage? The entrepreneurs who'll not use their critical thinking skills will be quickly left behind. The world desperately needs fresh thinking and new ways to do things, and we can all be a part of it with the right thinking. This is some high quality food for your mind, so don't even hesitate about investing your time and money on it!

Pretty good

I thought is was a decent book. Not life changing but made some good points. I will probably also read "risky is the new safe"
