Twists and turns

This was a roller coaster ride. I couldn’t stop listening! One of the best I’ve listened to

Justice

The twists and turns in this story kept me on the edge of my seat! I don’t usually write reviews but I must recommend this book-and this author!! I’m reading (listening, and I love the narrator’s accent!) all her works I can get my hands on!!

Ok

I enjoyed this book for the most part, but, the plot became disorganized at the end.

Terrible! (Spoiler Alert)

The book started out decently, but then the main protagonist, Claudia, thinks it's ok to kill her friend, Heather, after Heather admits to killing the protagonist's husband in self defense.

THEN the woman, Michelle, who so kindly offers Claudia and Heather a place to live as both are fleeing their spouses and offers them friendship is killed because she gets a little upset when the two main characters bring the police to her doorstep. Really?!?

THEN that same friend, Michelle, (who was terribly abused by the man she killed...she killed him because he had just raped her and promised to be back) is put in prison for life thanks to a letter the protagonist sends to a cop post mortem. WTF?!? Are we supposed to be satisfied with the rapist's mother and brother feeling like their abusive son/brother had justice served?

I found Claudia to be a terrible human being, and although perhaps that ties in with the title...it seemed like a highly improbable scenario and super upsetting/frustrating.
