short but very powerful
This second part of this short story is even more emotive than the first. Your heart breaks for the abuse and loss the child suffers. What she endured colours how she views the world and seems to suck all hope out of her. The expressive writing and narration make you feel the child’s anguish and desperation right along with her with her. It is a short but very powerful rendition.
