Intriguing Read
This is the book that fans of Kara and Niall have awaited. In this third outing for Kara and Niall, secrets are revealed; political intrigue is exposed; and of course, scientific developments introduced. Ms. Marlowe once again takes her readers on an exhilarating journey into Great Britain's Golden Years where Kara, Niall, their partners and friends join together to combat a threat not only to their lives but to the political stability of the world. The choreography of their labors is a work of art, and there are more than enough twists and turns and surprises, as well as intriguing historical references, to keep readers fully engaged. We learn more about the characters that we love, and some that we do not, but at the end of the day, Ms. Marlowe describes it best when she says, "They were more united and determined than ever. They would face what came, fight when they needed, and take joy when they could - together." I cannot wait to see what adventures are ahead for these characters.
Henrietta Meire does a superb job of voicing each of these characters and bringing them to life. Her inflection is natural, and the story just flows. Ms. Meire narrates other series that I enjoy in audiobook format, and I cannot say enough about her talent.

Better Together
Niall and Kara are just fine on their own but together, combined with their friends, they become an imposing force.
When Niall thinks to distance himself from Kara for her safety, they find themselves drawn back together. They will not stop until the other is safe and they have protected their friends.
This is definitely a story that embraces the power of love and friendship. Found family, forbidden love, secret identities and threats to all of these things unite Niall and Kara, and forge more than friendship.
