AMAZING!
I will say that I have read the paperback copy of Nemesis and the entire Immortal War Series. I loved every bit of the series and I had the honor of meeting the author at a charity event some years ago (shout out to Scares that Care :) Having said all that...
The audiobook and the narration by Jade brought Nemesis to life. I always wondered how the story would translate if it was brought forth in audio form, and I was not disappointed. Nemesis sounds exactly as I had imagined in my head. The gruffness and emotional inflexion in the words spoken captivated me all over again. And Lamia the female protagonist who I love dearly was brought to life as well. I have always imagined Lamia as sarcastic, sassy, quick-witted, alluring and so much more, but to hear her character in words made me love her even more. Again, Jade did a wonderful job with all the characters, the descriptions, emotional everything. I was captivated from beginning to end. I had even listened to this while driving, and I am sure the barista at Dunkin' Donuts was probably questioning my life choices, lol.
Hearing the story in audio format took an already amazing story and skyrocketed it to a whole new level. I fell in love with the characters all over again. If you like paranormal, vampire, demon, etc., then this is the story or series for you. The narration is not only spectacular but also calming. Don't take my word for it, listen for yourself and go from there. 10/10 will recommend!
