It also explains how your one word will impact the six dimensions of your life - mental, physical, emotional, relational, spiritual, and financial.

This second edition includes even more stories demonstrating the impact of embracing the One Word call to action. It explores the legacy of taking a focused approach to your life and outlines six new dimensions to the Action Plan.

Bold

I have been using this book and sharing it with others since I found it. This is a quick listen and can you you focus on the year in front of you. One word for one life for one year. I could never remember the long list of goals I set. But I can remember one word and that can change my outlook on everything.

Concise & powerful

I’ve heard this concept of choosing a word for the year before. I love that they keep it concise while walking you through the value and process of selecting your One Word. They give real life examples. My favorite is that they don’t get too wordy. Keep it simple and to the point! I will be doing this simple process with my family and for myself each new year!

the importance of posting your one word as a reminder

this is the second time I've listened to the book. I recall the book saying something about a family that met over Thanksgiving and discussed their word for the following year, which is the reason I gave it another listen. this year I did okay with my one word but didn't do it well. I believe that seeing that word frequently will be the difference between okay and great. I have an employee that used his one word and had his best year yet in sales. I think the great thing about this idea is that it's not a series of steps that must go in a particular order or it further complicates a process. it is, one word that you apply to every applicable situation. I'm about to buy several copies for my management team and ask them to read it and pass it on to their teams

What's your one word?

One word, one person at a time! I listened to this book, and I immediately purchased books for my entire leadership team. What a great way to start the new year.
