It all worked out

I would say I was into it after the first five chapters. It went really well. Wonderful voice actors. Maybe the last four chapters I fell off. The interest changed when I felt the plot took another direction. But I was engaged the majority of the time. I hope to see this series continue. The first one I loved.

I love this book in all forms but the audiobook comes out on top. Hearing these performers read this authors words is out of this world. I felt all the emotions and was in awe of their ability bringing this book to life. I loved everything about this book and can’t recommend it enough. It is a rockstar romance that is a must read!

Best Rock Romance of 2024 so far..Corvin King and Angelina Rocca Slayed this Performance! 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐️

This book gave me goosebumps on my goosebumps. And honestly I doubt any other rock romance is going to exceed this in 2024.
Let me preface by saying in my teens and 20s I was a rock girl that lived for concerts and I went to college wanting to get a degree to write for Rolling Stone and travel the globe following bands like the guy in Almost Famous. Writing and promoting music and maybe get backstage to meet Dave Grohl who was the sexiest drummer I had ever seen. I have always been a fool for a music industry story; Ask me my fave movie and it would be Star is Born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. But I digress . What Cassandra Robbins brought to life in Reign wasn't just a love story ;she captured the essence of what happens when a musician falls in love :the inspiration that flowed between Ammo and Courtney was so electric it was palpable. When a musician finds the muse of their life they can feel the music, and see the words flowing in the wind.

Angelina Rocca and Corvin King took this incredible story , these intense emotions and brought these characters to life in such a cinematic way I felt like applauding at the end . The only thing that was missing ..Angelina singing Tricky Love honestly the producer should have had her sing: her voice is made for playing a rock and roll princess. Any 90s girl would listen to Corvin King and be sent back in time to the club listening to Type O Negative ..his voice is made for this role and this performance has added him to my top autolisten narrators.

This book wasn't just steamy ( although I rate this the steamiest book of 2024 so far) it dealt with some hard hitting topics. For Courtney what it was like for her as a child Star to be taken advantage of by a parent , taken advantage of by everyone around her from her best friend to her PR manager. She had no idea how to trust , what love really was. Her general manager puts her in contact with "Ammo" Marshall Adams who was a cross between Machine Gum Kelly and Eminem a rock God who could launch a solo album for her into another stratosphere. He fell first: I know I am going to go back to my kindle and highlight all my fave quotes because his love for her ran so deep so fast. He saw her for the perfection she was from the very first time he heard her voice. .

I would love to see them again in the next book : this couple was absolute perfection.

Soooo Good!

If you want a spicy rock star romance this book is for you. The narration is great and the story is the perfect swoon worthy escape. I loved the first book and this one is equally as good. I do recommend jumping into the Cassandra Robbins universe for hours of enjoyment.

I have waited for this for awhile!

I've been waiting for this one to release for awhile. I watched a live with Angelina whe she was narrating and had to get the book.
Story was great! The chemistry between Ammo and Courtney was thick. The sexual tension was over the top. Spicy scenes where 🥵💥🔥.
Narration was epic. Corvin played a great Ammo. His voice portrayed a Rick star perfectly. Angelina is just amazing as always!

Heartfelt

I absolutely devoured this book! I loved Rise but this was a whole new level of perfect emotion and spice.

I love it!

I liked this better than the first book and that is saying something. Rise was great! I wish Courtney wasn't so clueless but sometimes you trust the wrong people.

This book is smexy, steamy and moves at a good pace. I will say my favorite part is when that Bi*@! Rachel got what was coming to her. I've hated her since Power.

While I listened to the audiobook I realized that the only thing that would have made it better for me was if Troy Duran voiced the Disciples and Jett Powers. I love Corvin King but he is not the voice for them. His voice is whiskey smooth and raspy at the same time, while the Disciples and Powers voices are deep, rough and commanding. Corvin King and Angelina Rocca were perfect for these parts!

Awesome

I really enjoyed this book. It’s definitely going to be a reread. I felt the passion and love between the two MC.
The narrators were awesome. I might have felt the chemistry better because I bought another book that had both narrators in it. The male narrator is awesome and really brings out the passion during intimate parts.

Overall I loved this book and also the narrators!

Ammo is everything!

I loved everything about this book. Flirty, dirty, two strong-willed people working through their issues in private while trying...and failing miserably to stay away from each other. So much action and a wonderful story. Cassandra Robbins knows how to do rock romances so well.

Angelina Rocca and Corvin King were perfect in their narration of two rock superstars.
