Absolutely enthralling.

I bought the first book and loved it. The detail and creation were absolutely amazing.
This second book was even better. If you love fantasy that is less gritty but lots of action with details and a beautifully built world. You should listen to it.
Beautifully done Sir Author. I aspire to write something as enjoyable as this.

I love Mr Perkins

Mr Perkins is one of my favorite performers. his character performance is good but the best part of his performance is really his ability to project the thoughts and emotions of the characters. he is performing an interpretation that conveys the emotions of them without attempting to push to characterize them. I understand and imagine without having to go through the lens of someone else's understanding. This is a subtle difference but a powerful one. I may choose an audio book narrated by Perkins before I do one with an interesting premise.

Excellent depth and storytelling

Such a wonderful series of books and am looking forward to the next in the series. A very well developed world with great interwoven characters made it hard to stop listening.

great, but!!!

while this is yet another amazing tail. this isn't a book for someone who listens while the they work or whatever. you will find yourself rewinding or wondering what you missed. I still highly recommend it.

This series, hence the author, really keeps the mind chewing! I love the diverse landscapes and characters! I was enthralled!

Remarkable intrigue. High fantasy

Rarely does such a book present it self. This is perhaps the most multifarious fantasy I’ve ever listened to or read in print. Several times I’d go back a chapter or two to let the magic and characters settle in my mind yet I was compelled to move on. No regrets! An intelligently fun listen. Narrator is fantastic!More please!

Another good book.

Great Performance by Mr. Perkins. Good book held my interest. I highly recomend this book to anyone between the ages of 14 and 140.

Frustrating

In my opinion, this book was complicated, lacked direction, wandering here and there! Additionally, the development of Nil was limited right up to the end!

While I had some difficulty enjoying the first book, due to the lack of Nil's character development, this book continued in the same vein! Bummer

I will not buy the third book!
