Publisher's summary
The initial euphoria of escaping from Nowhere would be fleeting. The burden of their actions in attaining freedom would continue to haunt them as they made the difficult transition from adolescence to adulthood. Whether or not they understood the implications of their actions they were fated to live a life predicated on lies. They would never fully comprehend the price their independence would exact.
Life had dealt them a cruel hand. Their resilience would be sorely tested as they tried to fit in a world that for so long left them behind. Each desperate to keep the demons at bay as they battled for a sense of normalcy, in an ever-changing landscape where chaos seemed to reign. Powerless to avoid the effects of the traumatic murders of their parents and their own abductions they would be conflicted to their end of days.
