Publisher's summary
Jonathan Stride and Serena Dial are both investigating high-profile murders in Las Vegas. A celebrity is assassinated during a fling with a prostitute, and a young boy is killed in a brutal hit-and-run incident. When the cases converge, Jonathan and Serena find themselves racing the clock against a determined serial killer and searching for a connection to the unsolved murder of a showgirl years earlier.
Freeman's vivid cast of characters exposes all of Las Vegas' dirty secrets, past and present. And in a rooftop showdown amid the ruins of a 1960s-era casino, the chase comes to a stunning climax.
Like the author's Immoral, Stripped pushes the emotional and sexual limits of its heroes and keeps the listener riveted until the last shocking plot twist.

One rainy night, the unthinkable happens: Dylan Moran’s car plunges off the road into a raging river, his beautiful wife drowning as he struggles to shore. In the aftermath, through his grief, Dylan experiences sudden, strange visions: wherever he goes, he’s haunted by glimpses of himself. Dylan initially chalks it up to trauma, but that changes when he runs into a psychiatrist who claims he’s her patient. If you've never read a Repairman Jack novel, this is the place to begin. It's 1990. A twenty-one-year-old named Jack has dropped out of college, leaving his old life behind to build a new one in New York City. Manhattan's rough edges are jagged enough to shred any unwary newcomer, but perhaps not one who is determined to stay off the grid, at any cost, in the busiest metropolis on earth. And to do so, he'll have to take jobs of a less than legal nature.

A LITTLE TOO LONG
This book was nearly as good as the first one in the series. It seemed the ending was at least an hour or more too late. When I thought it should be over, I checked how many minutes I had left and knew I was not even close. I liked the narration, I thought he did a good job. Still a 4 star rating: good story, good characters, and looking forward to the third in the series.

Great Story with Many Twists
I really enjoyed this book, as it was full of suspense, and so many things tied others together. I enjoyed all the main characters. I would recommend this book. The only thing that really annoyed me was there were dozens of characters that would come into play and gone. Some came back into the story, but with really no substance. I was annoyed because there were way to many characters to keep track of - seriously. But as a whole, this was an excellent suspense, with many other on-going stories in it.

I just love this author.
I started the books and didn't realize there was a certain order. I'm so enthralled with so enthralled with this character, Johnathan Stride. I'm going to stay with the first book, skip 2 and 3 (I've listed to those) then finish the series out. This authors writing style is awesome. Detailed without being boring or repetitive, engaging and interesting. These are a must listen to.
