Publisher's summary

With Somnia coming apart at the seams as the virus rampages, Murmur desperately plunges through the portal to save Sinister, Fable close behind.

James' entrance into the game has added yet another problem for the development team. Meanwhile, Jirald takes his vendetta to the next level, doing everything he can to sabotage the raid.

Allies and friends clash as uncertainty hangs over access to the final dungeon. The virus has figured out how to access some headsets, risking potentially millions of lives. AIs and Somnia evolve further, but taking their own fate into their hands is harder than anticipated.

With everything on the line, they only have one chance to succeed.

Wipe, and everything dies with them.

Kt an Andreau produce something magical.

it was fun entertaining, a few times annoying. But overall, it was Fantastic.

You grow to love the Main Characters.

I do wish there was, one more chapter, Closing everything up.

A great wrap-up to a fantastic story ARC!

Who knew that what started with a fairly shaky start (ie: bk2) would turn out to be a fantastic series!
What a great wrap-up to an action-packed series. As Murmur and Somnia the AI discuss the future and what it means for everyone.

And Andrea Parsneau gives us another Stellar performance which ends on a perfect note!

Ok I loved the story but……

Performance is another issue. Many many times I became frustrated with Andreas preference’s in performing Her job her job of telling somnias story. For me it was like a fast acting static filled frustration filled how her words bled together and her attempts of male voices. But regardless I loved Somnia and personality wished I could be in Fables Guild and be close friends with murmur, and sin and all her other close nit friends of course after all the stress and misery and just play the game with my friends in Fable…..

An amazing ending to a fantastic series!

KT Hanna and Andrea Parsneau are a dynamic duo! I wish this series went on forever, or maybe it had a second part (hint hint wink wink please?) The characters were so well written, I wanted to go on adventures with them! Andrea does an amazing job bringing them to life, her range is unbelievable! You will not be disappointed!

want more

overall I enjoyed this series. this book felt rushed and the ending was lacking. i really wanted more of a conclusion. im not a fan of open endings that hint that there might be more.

Began with a roar…

…went out with a whimper.

When I first started reading this series, I was ecstatic. I told everyone I knew that might be interested that they needed to read it. I couldn’t believe that I’d not heard of it years before. How had my literary circles slept on this series? Concept was great. Characters even better. So creative! Clever prose. Wonderfully narrated audiobook also!

But around book 3 and 4, the cracks started to show. And widen. Until it all fell apart such that by the end it was a struggle to finish. I spent as much time trying to get through Book 7 as I spent reading all previous 6 books.

There were simply too many plot lines and story concepts over the course of this series that went in a vast variety of directions, and scant few of them that concluded or paid off in a coherent manner — assuming they did at all. And, far too many plot lines and story concepts that came out of nowhere instead without any sort of reasoning for them. By the end it felt like Hanna was pulling ideas out of a hat rather than following the beautifully scripted outline that was evident in the first few books.

Characters breaking character to further the story. Breaking the rules of her world. Bringing back dead characters with no explanation. Retcons galore. So, so many retcons. And far too much hand-wavey resolutions for dire circumstances.

It was infuriating and ultimately depressing because Hanna proved in the first few books she is so, so much better than that. Nonetheless, knowing what I know now? I can no longer recommend this series.

It’s a real shame.

Overall not bad but..

While the overall story was good and most of the characters were fun to follow… with that said i hated the main characters murmur and Sin both were annoying. I stop caring about them and started to skipping chapters. I won’t spoil it but i won’t recommend it ever. I don’t plan to ever get any more books by this author
