About this listen

Tear Drops and Balloons is a collection of poems by Mike Posner. It comes as a breath of fresh air in a time otherwise polluted with catch phrases, "ism's", and cheap quotes that have slowly permeated what used to be poetic expression. Fearlessly, Posner cuts quickly to the bone, speaks from the gut, and offers his perspective on the world. By holding nothing back and showing no mercy in his words, he has created a body of work that showcases his ability to open his own wounds and show us what lies within.

Absolutely stunning

Came here after discovering Mike Posner through Mansionz. I got into At Night, Alone and thought it was great. When I found out that "i'm thinking about horses" came from his poetry book, I knew I had to get it, and when I found out that he narrated the audio book, it wasn't even a question. Mike has a great voice, and his performance is excellent. Thank you, Mike Posner. It's the club hits that get you that million dollar house, but it's the honest writing like this, At night, Alone, and Mansionz that I and so many others have fallen in love with.

"Wait. Mike Posner has fans?"
Well he's got at least one now!

Can't wait for another one. Mansionz, solo album, or another poetry book. I can't wait.

Yes

Love it. It tells you a bit more about his background and his decision to change. And ultimately it tells you his struggles wether that be the ones he made himself or not
