About this listen

Amber is a young videographer who has landed her dream job. She is to produce a web series based on a late-night talk radio show dealing with the unexplained. She is a huge fan of the show, and its host, Jack Owens, who she hopes to help reveal the world’s most cryptic secrets. The first secret she reveals is Jack’s. He doesn’t believe any of this crap. To him, the show is just a cushy job that allows him to support himself and his wife without having to try very hard. He doesn’t want to leave his house, go anywhere near the things he’s reported on or the people who come on his show, who he thinks, or at least hopes, are liars. But go near them, he will! And so will you! Join Jack and Amber as they encounter: monstrous creatures, scientific anomalies, shadowy conspiracies, secretive agencies, medical abnormalities, ancient curses, life after death and/or the key to immortality (Yes! Both of those things)! All that, and some really creepy kids! Listen to this book, and you’ll agree, “That’s Not Right."

Another fun adventure to add to the Meyer collection

I wasn't sure if I would like this one because conspiracy theories aren't usually my cup of tea but it's still a great time. A road trip through the different facets of American craziness with some thoughtful commentary along the way. I also really loved the blooper reels at the end!

I waited what felt like forever for this book. Was not disappointed.

Thank you Scott and Luke for another amazing story. I usually check every month or two to see if Scott has any new books out. It’s hard to find authors I really like. Scott has such a way with words and bringing characters to life. The stories are always entertaining and often hilarious.

Sigh...

Scott Meyer + Luke Daniels = Magic, so I buy any book that combines the two.
I'm so very sorry to report that That's Not Right was ultimately underwhelming. Perhaps my perspective is somewhat skewed by my love of the Magic 2.0 series and Master of Formalities.
It's almost blasphemous to say this, but I feel I must – Luke Daniels' portrayal of Jack Owens was so over-the-top flamboyant that after four hours, I just couldn't abide the sound and had to turn it off. It was listening to Comic Sans.

Amazing, original and hilarious.

Scott Meyer has a way of making totally interesting and original stories that will have you smiling and looking for excuses to walk the dogs longer just to hear more. Get this amazing book.

If its the start of a new series; add a star.

Familiar humor and sarcastic wit dominate this light-hearted conspiracy story about two opposites finding a common cause. The plot is superficial and serves as a backdrop to explore the two lead characters and their world. If this is intended to be the beginning of a series like the Magic 2.0 series, I suspect the reviews for this installment will improve. However, it would have faced criticism as a stand-alone story if Scott Meyer hadn't written it.

Gotta love Scott Meyer and Luke Daniel’s

Fantastic narration. Humorous story. Golden.

This is my statement to get me to the 15 word minimum.

More of a plot

I just wish there had been more of a plot. The multiple stories is fun but unfortunately there was no through plot or anything connecting the stories other than the main characters. Ultimately I was left scratching my head asking "why did I just read this?" Don't get me wrong, I love the author and I love the narrator, I just didn't love the plot

Pretty good, a bit short perhaps

Quite a clever setup with different small stories, some quite interesting, some not so much. It´s very well edited, fantastic narrator and all technical things are top notch. It´s a lot of "fluff" and fillers and a bit short.
