If you love Kathryn Janeway and Voyager, this book will delight you! I agree with another review I read… it really was plenty long, but I would’ve still enjoyed more and would’ve loved if it was twice as long! Thank you Una McCormick. And thank you, Kate Mulgrew, for narrating this.

If you like Star trek You love the story.
I know and understand that is a fictional character. But it reads like an actual biography. Gives you an inside to who this character is. If you love Star Trek Voyager. You would like this story.

Phenomenal
I was caught up in every moment of this story. As someone who got their start with Trek watching Voyager, and who has used that show as an introduction for many others, I already knew I would love it, but having it voiced by Kate Mulgrew gave it an even more amazing aspect.

Absolutely the best book I've ever listened to. I might be biased because I loved the series so much, but this really flushes out gaps in the story and is done so well. Any star trek fan would be doing themselves a huge favor to listen to this book.

SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS STORY!
Absolutely wonderful story not only to fill in the gaps but give a TRUE backstory to Captain Kathryn Janeway.
As a fan of Star Trek since I was a kid, I love the fact that it was read by Kate Mulgrew herself and enjoyed her narration throughly!

Best Voyager novelization
Very well written by Una McCormack and who better to narrate than the captain herself? We benefit from Kate Mulgrew being not only a consummate actress but an experienced narrator of audiobooks, able to differentiate the voices of each character speaking rather than just reading the script out loud. Sweet little surprise at the very end—I don’t recall any mention of the sperm donor, LOL.
