I absolutely loved this book...Big Koontz fan right here. I love how the writer steps in and explains when things don't add up . Two thumbs up..

I want one!

This is one of Dean's funnier, more 4th wall breaking books. At the same time he makes a number of pithy comments and observations on modern life.
Not a spoiler, but I wonder if Dean has ever hear / read a short story by ROBERT SHECKLEY called PROTECTION.
It seemed he might be going in that direction a few times and in the end it seemed to be "well what if this entity actually worked and kept him safe?" unlike the protagonist of PROTECTION. Ultimately that turned out to be a joke / rabbit trail but I wonder if Dean has read it.
Remember DON'T LESNERIZE!!!

Such Fun

I always enjoy the humor Dean Koontz adds to his stories and Ray Chase gave an amazing performance. Bad Weather was such a fun listen!!!

This was great! Not a complete horror story but a fascinating strange book with strange situations. It also has great characters, action, humor, and a really nice guy! Benny, the nice guy, finds himself jobless and blacklisted, because he is a nice guy. He has a relative he didn't know that sends him something, this is when his luck changes. He gets a bad weather friend!
The story bounces between his childhood and present. It makes sense. The ending is terrific!

You said this was fun to write....it was more fun to listen to!

I waited with anticipation for Koontz's latest book and I enjoyed the story very much. The characters were entertaining. This has to be one of my most favorite books. Well done!

Hilarious!

This was hysterical! I laughed out loud throughout. Lisren to it! You won't regret it. It would be fun on a road trip.

At long last Koontz is back

A refreshing story going back to his original structure of mixing fantasy with good vs evil; this was a binge-worthy book.

Great story of justified revenge. Terrific characters with believable voices. What more to be said?

Light and Fun, like Odd Thomas and similar

Some of the more recent Koontz books have been a little too formulaic for me. This one was refreshing. Lots of quippy banter and witty one liners. Good story and an excellent performance by the auditor. Highly recommended.

The Friend that will stand with you through thick and thin

This book cannot be read in bits! You must have 8 hours of marathon reading, otherwise you will be tormented thinking of the outcome! I loved Spike! and Harper Harper and Benny! what a story! If you loved this book, you need to read the four books in the Jane Hawk Series! As always, Dean Koontz has done it again!
