Publisher's summary

James Colosimo, who prefers to be known as “Diamond Jim”, is one of Atlanta’s most prominent criminal defense attorneys. After successfully defending a high-profile case in Savannah, he is now back in that beautiful city for another trial. This time, as a defendant, accused - along with two other members of his law firm - of influencing witnesses and conspiracy.

Prosecuting the case is the same young assistant DA he opposed the last time he was in Savannah, Scott Marino, whose primary witness is facing serious charges of his own. “Diamond Jim” requests that he be allowed to act as his own counsel, which the trial judge approves.

But when his codefendants demand the trial judge allow “Diamond Jim” to defend them also, claiming their right under the constitution to “counsel of their choice”, the judge has a difficult decision to make, which will affect the defense, but even more so the prosecution.

Savannah Law

Scott Marino, now Assistant District Attorney has been granted the case to prosecute “Diamond Jim” He is about to marry Jennifer, who unknowing ( Scott had her dismissed from law school due to plagiarism) invites Vanessa to their wedding. Vanessa will do anything to get revenge on Scott. She joins James Colosimo’s (Diamond Jim) law firm and tries to sabotage the wedding. I love catching up with all the familiar characters from the first 3 books . Another great story and listen by William Eleazer and Bob Johnson I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

Not for us!

Sad to say my husband and I could not finish this book. It seemed very slow---more about jokes at the local bar than legal thriller. Perhaps we were unfair to not finish it, but this time we could not.

We also had problems with the narrator. I almost did not even start the book because of the narrator’ emphasis on certain syllables all the time.
