Worth a credit

You will grow to love the MC and appreciate him for the twisted sob he is. He falls in love with the daughter of a man he murdered. Then stalks her from afar. There is a pretty great twist at the end too.

Wow!

The first couple chapters had me questioning the purchase. But wow...what a story. It kept me guessing.

An excellent stalker romance! 💘

Stalker romances can be a hit or miss for me, but this was so incredibly well done. Ari and Adeline’s characters are well developed, their back stories and motives logical and compelling. And before anyone prematurely accuses White of stealing the name “Adeline” from a famous stalker romance, I’ll save you some time and tell you that this was written first. The plot was believable and the writing was top notch. The audio is in dual narration, but I loved it. I didn’t want to stop listening. Highly recommend!

Excellent Story & Narration🎧 Mesmerizing & Clever!

I loved everything about this book, from Lily White’s wonderful writing style to the amazing and original storylines and characters she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life, from the pages to the ears. This story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The characters are easy to relate to and connect with, the author made it easy to care about them and it was even easier to fall for the bad guy. The characters are relatable, easy to connect with and the author made it easy to care about them and it was even easier to fall for the bad guy. Some people have a guardian angel watching over them, but what happens when that guardian is a fallen angel, a diabolical one. Adeline does not know it but she has just that, a stalker who is her guardian devil and he goes by the name Ari. Ari knows more about Adeline than she knows about herself, she became his obsession after killing her father. I loved how the author takes you inside Ari’s head, hearing his thought process and inner dialogue for everything he did when it came to her. Adeline was a mess at times, but she finally gets back on track when she meets someone she wants to spend the rest of her life with. But that someone is not who she thought he was. This brilliantly plotted romance suspense keeps you on your toes and takes you to the edge of your seat, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Lily White, thank you for this amazing and wild ride. I am glad to see that Ari’s sidekick, Lincoln, is getting his own book, I hope there are plans to bring that on audio too.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Ada Sinclair and James Cassidy did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each their own distinct voice and personality. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Ada Sinclair nailed it as Adeline, James Cassidy did the same for Ari, both were great playing the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into his performance. These talented narrators and a versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this amazing listen.

Outstanding

This is my first book by Lily and what an absolute yummy ride she took me on. Full of drama, adventure, anticipation, suspense, dark, steam and all around awesome read. Looking forward for the next book by Lily. Outstanding narration!

Enjoyed this story and narration very much. It could have been a little bit shorter, but it is a compelling story with great narration. New to me author and narrators that I will definitely revisit.

I screamed when I saw this!!!

This book is amazing, one of my (ALL-TIME) favorites. I first read the book through KU. As soon as I finished it, I purchased my own copy that I thoroughly enjoy every single time I read it. I do not have as much time to sit and read now and I have wished on many occasions that this book was available on Audible. Sometimes, you just need a fix, ya know? NOW IT IS!!!! Thank you Lily White for adding this version!!!

If you like dark, twisted, bad boys, (Yes-Please) you will LOVE Ari! I fell in love with him immediately! He is a dark, intense, mouthwatering, OTT obsessed, all things alpha, stalker (a.k.a shadow)/assassin/sex-on-legs! This story is extremely well-written!!! (I heart Lily White) Ari & Adeline are well-developed and their deeper stories continue to build and unfold as the pages turn. Ari is a hired assassin and he is beyond obsessed with protecting Adeline after her father's death leaves her alone on a very self-destructive path.

Although I prefer Duet narration, this dual narration performance was well done. Both narrators are new to me but they did a great job. I appreciate that the narrators portrayed the ages of the characters accurately for the story. Much of this story is told from Ari's point of view. At times, he speaks directly to the reader. I loved this personalization when I read the book, but found it even more enjoyable when spoken.

When I grade a book, I consider:
Do I relate to & like the characters from start to finish? Check!
Is the story well-written and engaging from start to finish? Check!
Most importantly-Will I ever read this title again? CHECK!!! CHECK!!!
How many books have you purchased that would better serve as kindling? Yeah, me too! This one is a winner for me and now I can and will revisit Ari as often as I like, even when I'm up & about! So Many More Than Five Stars!!!!!!!

If you need fairy tales, go away. If you like dark & dirty, there's no better way to spend your credit this month!!!

HELL YEAH!!

New author and narrators for me. 10 year age gap + assassin stalker = 😘🥵 OMG I LOVED THIS!! Definitely in my top 5 stalker romances ❤️ The story is so good! Like f*ck a guy good (Yes I recently watched Sausage Party again), but seriously, it keeps you interested, has funny moments, satisfying justice, sweet sweet pettiness, and the perfect narrators. Need more of both narrators. My only criticism is James's voice volume needed to be a bit louder, but it doesn't affect the enjoyment.
