Excellent story line and performance!

I loved the characters in this story, Anytime a story becomes a picture in your mind you know its a good one. I liked the pace of the story, the right combination of horror mixed with an interesting heartfelt human nature story. Not a lot of words wasted on bring you up to date on a hundred years of history not related to the story, loved that.. I've stopped reading/listening to some books bc there was just too much filler info, page after page of boring unrelated nfo. Not with this book, you jump right into the action and the author keeps you guessing til the end.

Werewolf perfection.

I grew up on some of the best werewolf movies ever made: Silver Bullet, the Howling, American Werewolf in London, other classics. I’m a total werewolf horror junkie and have listened to many of the books on here with very mixed experiences. I can say this is absolutely the best werewolf audiobook on here.
The time and setting are unique and immersive. The creature is classic and correct in its origin and form. None of this hairless werewolf nonsense or other unnecessary abominations. The main characters are likable and relatable. Best of all, no unnecessary wokeness or social commentary to ruin the experience—Just pure werewolf terror and suspense.
Huge props to the narrator for an excellent job creating a variety of voices and accents.

The narrator did an excellent job reading this book. The writing of this book was descriptive as the writer made it easy to picture everything. The ending kept you guessing. I enjoyed the book very much.

Amazing Creature Book!

This is a fantastic "Who Done It" creature book! It was extremely well written! Marjorie is a phenomenal writer! "The Horror Within" has an amazing story line and plot which was supported by a diverse array of characters! Al Pagano did a superb job bringing each and every character to life. I have to applaud Al's ability to give each character their own voice while using varying accents and occasional dialects that brought Marjorie's wonderful book to life! I have no idea how Al was able to keep each character in character with numerous scenes with multiple character interactions! I can't wait for "The Horror Within II" and I hope that All will preform the next book in the series as well!
