Publisher's summary

Lorith's magic is fading. Centuries ago, heroic adventurers stopped the World Boss’ cycle of rebirth by reducing the creature to one hit point and sealing it away so no one would ever find it. But, by ending one calamity, they halted the natural flow of magic within the world and brought about the Havoc Plague.

With all civilization now on the brink of collapse, humanity's only hope is to find and kill the World Boss in order to restart the monster's rebirth cycle and bring back magic. When the Plagued janitor Harvey stumbles into a mysterious wreckage and accidentally kills the missing World Boss, he gains a million experience points, making him the target of almost all the would-be adventurers of the world. Burdened with ancient knowledge, and hunted by countless rivals, he must join with unlikely allies to do the unthinkable: find the reincarnated World Boss and defeat it again, before it can ravage the world anew.

Father of Constructs is an optimistic LitRPG novel with a dash of Slice of Life.

Loved the book, amazing audio!

*sigh*. This book just filled every sad part in my soul (after causing a couple by the way). I read the ebook when it released last year, but was very excited to see it was coming out on audio too! Harvey is a good man. Good men do good work, as he says, and he works so hard to do good. My son has a hard time reading, but loves to listen to audio. I’ve told him about this one and his sister over heard, and they are both excited to listen to this as we run errands around town!

Please note, I’ve not heard anything read by either of these voice talents before, but many of the voices were spot on for what I was expecting!!

great story and world.

Love the world that's being built so far. Characters are great and likable. my only complaint is the female is a lower volume than the male one. This makes it hard to hear her when the same volume is fine for him

This is a good start if it weren't for the editing clutches It will be a full 5 stars

This is a great story which for shadows are great series the only problem is in this one who ever did the Editing there were some clutches it's just sometimes when repeat it and like some parts that didn't make sense until another part it's like they cut it and paste it wrong Hopefully they won't be that problem on the next one but this is going to be in the top 30 of great storie keep going this way

A fun story, appropriate for kids

I enjoyed the story. It was nice to have a lighter, less complex story in the litrpg genre. Also a fun perspective shift from the combat heavy titles. I think the narration had a (small) issue with sound levels. The female narration is always substantially quieter than the males, almost like the characters are speaking from a different room. Small nitpick, but it was sometimes hard to hear what female characters were saying.

Can’t wait for the next one!

I didn't know dual narration could be this good!

I already knew this was a good book, but I had no clue how much more the narrators would bring to it! Their performances are vivid, smooth, and fit together seamlessly! I was worried about how Harvey's voice might be executed, but I think I might actually love him even more now! BRAVO!
