Publisher's summary

Someone found him in a laundry basket at the Quick Wash, wrapped in a towel, a few hours old and close to death. They called him "Baby Moses" when they shared his story on the ten o'clock news.

It all happened before I was born, and by the time I met Moses and my mom told me all about him, the story was old news, and nobody wanted anything to do with him. People love babies, even sick babies. Even crack babies. But babies grow up to be kids, and kids grow up to be teenagers. Nobody wants a messed up teenager.

And Moses was messed up. Moses was a law unto himself. But he was also strange and exotic and beautiful. To be with him would change my life in ways I could never have imagined. Maybe I should have stayed away. Maybe I should have listened. My mother warned me. Even Moses warned me. But I didn't stay away.

5 Platypires

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely I would recommend it. I would love for them to suffer as I did. Mwahaha

What did you like best about this story?

Oh man, I don't even know where to start. I guess how gripping it was. It grabbed me by my heart and just didn't let go.

What does Tavia Gilbert and J. D. Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They were both amazing. This was one of the best narrations I've heard in a while. The story itself was fantastic, but they brought it to a whole other level.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many times where I would giggle because of adorableness. There were times where my heart would beat so quickly because of certain dramatic bits. But there was one specific moment where I couldn't move because I was sobbing.

So, yes. This book is very moving.

Any additional comments?

This book is paranormal. Moses communicates with ghosts. That should be noted in the description, but it isn't.

Aaaahh-mazing!

This is my first audiobook that I've listened to all the way through and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement. This audiobook kept me company while I had to make multiple trips to the west coast of Florida for training, which took an hour or more each way. I love Amy Harmon and all of her books. Thanks for making this into an audiobook.

Amazing Story, AMAZING Narration

Where does The Law of Moses rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is one of my favorites, and with the AMAZING narration by Tavia Gilbert and JD Jackson, it in my to 20.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I LOVED the voice Georgia because she sounds so broken, but was actually so strong.

What about Tavia Gilbert and J. D. Jackson ’s performance did you like?

Tavia Gilbert is AMAZING!! This is the third book I'm listened to that she has narrated and she adds so much dimension to the story. She's not just narrating the story, she reads it like she's lived it. Truly AMAZING!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

SPOILER ALERT!!!

My heart broke several times in this book, but the one that had me crying like a baby is when Georgia talks about Eli and how he died. Being a mother, this part of the book was unimaginable for me, it truly broke my heart.

Any additional comments?

I HIGHLY recommend this book!!!

Heartbreakingly sad and brilliantly good

This book! So heartbreakingly sad, but still so brilliantly good.
I never read a single word from it, but I have the audiobook.
The first time I listened to it was a year ago, and I never forgot a single word. Never forgot the emotions I felt while listening to it. And now, little over a year later I had to listen to it again. My heart warm, fuzzy and sad. I know how this story goes and I know how it will end, and I still love it as much as I did while I first heard it.

Beautifully written

Amy Harmon's writing is haunting, mesmerizing, and emotionally charged, but in a way that is as raw and real as it is poetic and beautiful. This is a story that will break your heart and make you angry, and then make you feel all warm and fuzzy. The characters will frustrate you at times as you fall in love with them. From tragedy to triumph, hope to heartbreak, be ready to feel a lot from this story. I can't imagine anyone not being touched deeply by this book. It's a great read.

THE 5 GREATS...

This story, Tavia Gilbert, J.D. Jackson, Amy Harmon, and all the characters in this book. Those are my 5 greats! That's as much of a spoiler as I'm going to give in my review.

I can't believe I found this gem of a book in the romance package section. Amy Harmon is my new favorite writers. The story she weaves and the imagery she creates through her words is amazing!
And can I just say, both the narrator's were incredible. It's hard to find a good narrator and I just found two in one book. JACKPOT!!!

Highly recommend you spend a credit on this one, you won't regret it.

I'm not crying your crying

Moses and Georgia may make you cry with their back and forth but tears are happy and sad but mostly happy. and some time the tears are good. the story surprised me so get ready for a beautiful story dappled with love, fears, growth, forgiveness, and a well developed plot.
