Glad I finally listened..

This booked flowed perfectly, just purchased the second book actually in hopes to hear maybe an update for Madison and Claire. If not I’m sure I won’t be disappointed based on the summary. I think the cover is really fitting for the story.

Eat Candy

This is a great listen to escape for a few hours. Lots of steamy scenes and a fairly decent story line to keep you interested. Looking forward to more

This is a much better read than a listen

Wow. I'm sorry to say this is a situation where the narrator didn't enhance the experience of the book, but detracted from it. I re-read my review of the novella and was in love with it. The listen made me wonder why I enjoyed it so much. There was almost no voice differentiation for the characters and narrator Senn Annis's delivery was generally flat. The story seemed cheesy at times and not sexy like it was while reading it. One thing that was distracting - and quickly became irritating - was though Annis said the word "again" in the commonly used way, when she would say "against" she pronounced it "Uh-GAIN-st" - which is very uncommon. And because author KC Luck used that word quite often - it got to where it took me out of the story when she would say it. The only time the narration worked was when - in moments of passion for the Claire character - Annis would groan or moan and that was sexy. This was supposed to be an erotic novella, after all. But beyond that - ouch. It honestly pains me to write reviews like this because I'm always rooting for the author (especially smaller indie publishers) to do well. If you're going to experience this - and I do still recommend it - definitely go with the written version.

This was great story line. The read of this book was perfect; I was captivated. need more!

Fun listen! Can't wait to get into the next LBC

I went into this not knowing what I was getting myself into and I wound up really enjoying this book. The story and premise was interesting and hooked me in just when I needed it. The cover art is a bit misleading because the main character is described as butch and the cover model is clearly super fem. Not that it matters but I thought it was worth mentioning. I would have enjoyed more description on Madisons looks but it kind of left it up to you to decide what she looked like. There is tons of sex! Hot sex. I normally feel weird listening to sex being narrated to me but I really enjoyed it in this story. So if you're not about hot lesbian sex move along. lol! Loved the story and honestly Madison just reminded me of Richard Gere in pretty woman... They both wound up rescuing eachother like Julia Roberts says in PW. Fun listen!

Surprisingly solid

The lesbian sex was so accurate that I forgot to care about the story at all. To my surprise, it turned out to be above average. Super hot. Buying the next one now

The ending

Was not a big fan of the ending, but it was still an okay listen.

Narrator

I think I overall this would have been much better with an experienced narrator. For this type of book someone who can do all accents and be sexy as hell. There are a handful that come to mind as the act the parts so well but my top picks are either Abby Craden or Nicola Victoria Vincent. Would love to listen again with one of them narrating

The Voice

A great book WHEN you read it. I really wished they gotten someone with a deeper voice.. Madison was always a crazy sexy butch but hearing her like this does not do the book justice. Great book, but having read the pages first and audio second just ruined the characters voices. Still one of my favorite reads.

Outstanding

I have read the trio several times now and keep wondering if there will be another book Comte. Zena is very interesting! Now the one from Russia is the one I believe is harassing the other members of the club. But the books are fantastic!
