Best book I've bought in a while!
I REALLY enjoyed this book! It was not one of those same 'ol tired run of the mill fake girlfriend or return to your hometown & reunite with your first love scenerios. This one was more grown up, I guess you'd say. Not so cutsie. Loved the storyline, the characters were likeable, sex scenes were hot & for an added bonus, I like that this author mentions their zodiac signs because I love astrology. Great narration too!

a story of compassion and healing
This book was amazing. Captivating and holding my attention throughout! A story of horrible beginnings not defining the journey. That there is beauty in the unexpected and healing in letting go.

Excellent love story!!
This was my second book by JJ Arias and I was just as happy as the first one. The story had many layers but it was also extremely sexy.

Loved it the book. Ditch the narrator
One of the best books she’s written but this narrator Ugh. Her tone is the same throughout and it’s hard to decipher who’s speaking at times and I just can’t get with the tone through all sections of the book. It works with some scenes and not with others

Exquisite writing
Veronica & Ally are bonded by a shared trauma of a cheating partner. In trying to make him atone they end up falling in love. Arias writes pain, healing and the awakening of renewed desire so perfectly! This book is paced well, the audio version is perfectly performed. Bravo!
