Close to comprehensive

Ultimately, this is just one of many views on how to properly do Buddhist meditation. But, it does go a great distance toward creating a unified, clear explanation of all Buddhist practices.

There's less neuroscience than I expected, though, given the introduction and what I'd heard about the book.

THE BOOK

Having spent a lifetime in learning about meditation and practicing its various forms, this book and John Yates' journey herein, is a light post for any student of enlightement. I see this work of beauty, simplicity, and brilliance as a treasure and a gift from John to the mankind. Thank you, John. I wish John had recorded it in his own voice.

Meditation

This is the best book I’ve found so far on meditation. It sums up what I’ve read in several other books. It keeps it as simple yet detailed as possible for practical use. It’s helped me along in my own practice and answered a few conflicts I’ve found with all the info out there.

Best Mindfulness Guide

I would recommend this book to a friend because it provide an excellent step by step explanation for proper Meditation.

It is not a story book, But the subject discussed was very useful and was explained in detail.

A Wonderful Book

- Just finished listening to this book.
- More than 500 pages.
- So far the most elaborate book for me regarding meditation.
- This is not a beginner's book, for those who want to know more details, for them it is a very good book I think.
- I will have to read it again.
- Very correctly said that A Complete Meditation Guide Integrating Buddhist Wisdom and Brain Science

Informative

Love that book, great information and easy to follow absolutely wonderful, life-changing, eye-opening, and fantastic. It's truly amazing. I plan to read it many more times, sitting with the words, feeling what they say. It is the one single book that I would say is the most important book I've ever read.
