About this listen
The wait is over. After a two-year investigation, the results of The Mueller Report have been released to the public. Now listen to an audio version of one of the most talked about government documents in history. These are the redacted findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team, which was tasked with investigating Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, including exploring any links or coordination between President Donald J. Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government.
Audible has a history of recording and distributing public documents. This includes The 9/11 Commission Report, The Starr Report, and Pope Francis' encyclical letter on climate change and inequality, Encyclical Letter Laudato Si' of the Holy Father Francis: On Care for Our Common Home.
Editorial notes: This audio recording identifies the sections of The Mueller Report that have been redacted by the Office of the Attorney General. When the narrators reach a section of the report that has been redacted, they will give one of the four reasons for a redaction that is specified in the report. Those reasons are the following: Grand Jury, Harm to Ongoing Matter, Investigative Technique, Personal Privacy. To aid the listener’s comprehension of the report, we have recorded footnotes that contain secondary pieces of information, which provide additional context to the events described. Finally, references to US Code, federal regulations, court cases and other legal and technical documents have been adjusted for brevity and listener clarity. We are providing a downloadable PDF for a full and complete reference. This file can be accessed in your Library section along with the audio.
Please note: Audible's version of The Mueller Report is free. If subsequent versions of this report are released, Audible will make every effort to provide updates.

Story
In the years leading up to the election of Donald Trump, Congressman Adam Schiff had already been sounding the alarm over the resurgence of autocracy around the world, and the threat this posed to the United States. But as he led the probe into Donald Trump’s abuses of presidential power, Schiff came to the terrible conclusion that the principal threat to American democracy now came from within. In Midnight in Washington, Schiff argues that the Trump presidency has so weakened our institutions and compromised the Republican Party that the peril will last for years.

Story
On January 6, 2021, insurgents stormed the U.S. Capitol, an act of domestic terror without parallel in American history, designed to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. In a resolution six months later, the House of Representatives called it "one of the darkest days of our democracy," and established a special committee to investigate how and why the attack happened. Celadon Books, in collaboration with The New Yorker, presents the committee's final report, the definitive account of January 6th and what led up to it.

Ascending to the leadership role of US Attorney for the Southern District, which includes Manhattan and several counties to the north, is a capstone to any legal career: it entails guiding a team of the best lawyers in America in selecting and winning cases that often have global import. Geoffrey Berman was honored to be tapped for the job by Donald Trump in 2018. The manner in which Trump had dispatched his predecessor Preet Bharara was troubling, but the institution was fabled for its independence. Surely he could manage.

Accused of creating a bogus Red scare and smearing countless innocent victims in a five-year reign of terror, Senator Joseph McCarthy is universally remembered as a demagogue, a bully, and a liar. History has judged him such a loathsome figure that even today, a half-century after his death, his name remains synonymous with witch hunts. But that conventional image is all wrong, as veteran journalist and author M. Stanton Evans reveals in this groundbreaking book.

It then investigates the claims and counterclaims of the Trump era, and the relentless spread of conspiracy theories online and on-air.

Story
In this meticulously researched classic of the JFK conspiracy genre that Library Journal calls "sensational", Mark North argues convincingly that President John F. Kennedy died as the result of a plot masterminded by Louisiana Mafia chieftain Carlos Marcello - and, more importantly, that FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover learned early on about the plan but did nothing to stop it. Hoover warned no one - not the Dallas police, not the Secret Service. His motives, North suggests, stemmed from a fervent hatred of Kennedy and fear that the President would eventually fire him.

Thank you Audible!
What a nice surprise when I logged in to Audible looking for a new book and discovered the Mueller Report for FREE in both audio and .pdf format! Good deal for your subscribers Audible; one of the reasons I stay a member...your company is very customer service oriented. Rather than make a small bit of change by selling the Mueller report, like Amazon is, you use your own resources and give it to your customers free. Very nice. Whether or not you agree with the report is totally irrelevant...at least you have the opportunity to read it. Those who are looking for fault and lies will find it everywhere, report or no, but, the opportunity to read and decide for yourself has been gifted to us by Audible! Thank you!

I never would have guessed that I would make it through listening to a portion of The Mueller Report, let alone the entire 19 hours! But, thanks to the 3 readers, who actually had great voices to listen to, I not only completed the report but I was interested and learned a lot. The fact that Audible put this together, in such a professional way, and made it available FREE OF CHARGE — now that is Democracy! I highly recommend listening to this and think it should be required for all Americans (including Trump, his cabinet and all members of the Senate and Congress).

Want the truth?
I got this undoctored report thinking that there'd be some guilt hidden between the lines, but the only collusion I could see was on Hilary's part. I was shocked to even see anything about her in the report. I'm sure she's squirming about that, but it wasn't anything we didn't already know.
At any rate, all these reviews about this report proving collusion with President Trump, I believe, was posted because there really wasn't anything detrimental in it and they just wanted to post the opposite, or they simply didn't read or listen to it. If there was such obvious proof of guilt , as they're sugesting, then the far left wouldn't have gone about writting their own version of the report, post haste. Did anyone else notice how quickly they piled up?
The first volume was mostly about all the wannabes trying to weasel their way onto the winning side's band wagon, which Trump was too smart to get involved with and, or used to. However, Don Jr. may not have been so smart, but it seemed typical of a son trying to vie for his dad's attention or prove some kind of worthiness...and the wannabes took to his naivity like flies on food. Whether it was to entice him to meet in order to do other forms of money making business, get on the White House band wagon, or to set him up in some way was not in the research of the report, or of any consequence other than typical schmoozing that goes on with any political party, or those of similar wealth & influence.
Volume 2 was of more interest, yet nothing to grab onto as collusion...seemed to be mostly about Clinton's shenanigans than anything else. Even so, the report was worth reading.
I was never this interested in politics in the past, but with all the screaming and crying going on with the left, I wanted to learn for myself what this was all about? Now I know it's nothing but political warfare. Don't they have anything worthy to throw our money into other than pettiness? This is exactly why I switched parties. He's President, people, and doing a great job of it! Put your diapers back on and get over the bed wetting.

Thank you so much for making this available!
What an amazing resource. Done so well and made available incredibly fast. It feels so good to be informed and educated about such an important topic in the news and facing our nation. Can’t say how impressed I am for Audible to make this resource available to us for FREE at such an incredibly high production standard. And it was much more readable (listenable), clear, interesting, concise and informative than I had anticipated. Not nearly as much jargon and “boring stuff” as I had feared. Every American should listen if you ask me!!

Thank you for doing this
It's hard to imagine what could possibly be redacted that would make this sorry episode worse. I'm truly grateful for Audible putting this on their list for free so everyone can hear it. Sadly, too few of the people who need to will.

Puts some of what has been reported in context
It's nice to have a chance to hear everything put into its proper context. Mainstream news media outlets have endlessly played up the "I'm F****ed" comment, and I initially thought this was some sort of admission of guilt on Trump's part. Nice to have a chance to hear the following few sentences which put that comment in context. The media seems to take a lot of comments Trump makes out of context to push a progressive agenda, i.e. Charlottesville. Thanks for providing this Audible. Maybe the $25 million taxpayer dollars spent on this useless 2 year investigation wasn't a complete sunk cost.
